Love this strap! I’ve been using and recommending the BlackRapid Sport for over 10 years. After 30+ years as a pro photographer, it’s essential gear. I’ll never use a neck strap again. It’s so much more comfortable and gives me the flexibility to keep my camera at my hip while riding a bike, walking, or at a photo shoot. The locking bumper holds it securely, and the quick-draw option is perfect for photographing wildlife or fast-moving scenes. Highly recommended!
The safety tether connected to that place, it wil always sit in the way when you grip the camera. It won't feel comfortable. And like Rick already asked , where is the QD connection??
No. I have used these type of straps (different brand) for over a decade. The straps and carabiner are super heavy duty and will not break. The safety strap is a backup for if the screw-in attachment to the camera body comes loose.
@@bl8550 I've also used them for years and have had a carabiner break! Fortunately my safety tether was attached to the on camera strap hook and the carry strap, independent of the carabiner and didn't crash to the floor.
I got this strap included with a bunch of 2nd hand camera gear and have tried it several times. I have to say it's just dreadful, I can't find 1 good thing to say about it. The strap constantly falls off my shoulder and slides down my arm regardless how tight I make the awkward to grab connect clip strap dangly thing, it's not long enough to hold the camera in my hand while walking even though I have it at full extension, and the connector is abysmal - almost like it was designed to be as inconvenient as possible. I normally only leave positive reviews but this strap is so bad I felt the need to say something, glad I didn't buy it new.

What happened to the QD connection option? I much prefer that connection type over the carabiner clip.

how much weight does this support? i want it to a z9 and 400 2.8
I use mine with the Z180-600mm and it's absolutely fine
thanks!!
Is it comfortable if you are carrying a backpack at the same time, do not interfere both straps in the left shoulder (in this case)….?
They offer a version that loses the shoulder strap and attaches to your backpack strap.
I use it with a backpack all the time. Pack goes on first, then the strap.
So the safety tether attaches to the same carabiner as the camera. So when the carabiner breaks it still falls to the ground.
Ok…

I've been using this strap for over a decade and have never had these issues.
