I love this tutorial, thank you. I cannot wait to begin my scarf project! Please keep sharing your videos... I am definitely subscribing! I am a beginner and found your video to be one of the best to follow, your teaching is easy and clear, great teacher!
I do hope it goes well for you.....Just recently I have had contact from quite a few crocheter's like yourself trying knitting for the first time. Good luck.
This is a beautiful stitch! Your instructions are quite clear and I have enjoyed it very much!!! I am relearning how to knit again....I used to knit when I was 8 yrs old, up until about 14 yrs old, I'm going to be 62 in the beginning of April. I have to get into the hang of switching from front to back with the yarn for knit and purl stitches. I'll get it!
Knitting with chunky yarns & Larger needles is really a great way to go when you have very limited time. I'm knitting this for sure......thanks for the patterns, i just subscribed to your channel♥
The Casting On Couch Thank you for doing this tutorial !!! it's a lovely white scarf and instructions very easy to follow ... this could easily be my next scarf project !!
Gorgeous and complete, once again. Thank you, love love LOVE the plush yarn. And I would never have chosen white, but seeing it done in the plush white, I just can't imagine any other color being better! :)
i am so happy to find your channel wich i now follow, because not only your voice are very relaxed, but also the kind you make your teaching is lots of nice and very clear, i sorry for my english but isnot my native tongue, thank you so much Cristina
To Anaya Joshi. I have a Midlands accent. Hope you get this message. (For some reason I can not respond to your linked comment directly). Is that you in the photo? If it is I really love the picture. Beautiful.
Love this, had practice on a odd piece wool, manage do it, my friend said she would love a handmade scarf from me for her birthday, but she likes bright colours , havent used chunky wool before, now many balls of wool did you use please, love way you do tassles, l get lengths same thread threw each one then tie knot, not sure if that right l knit in double or aaron wool normally x
love your videos would love to see this pattern made into a cowl wonder if you would do any videos using this on normal or circular needles. happy new year x
Elaine Brickwood - You could use my Raspberry Stitch Beanie in order to see how this stitch can be worked in the round and adapt it? RASPBERRY STITCH BEANIE : ua-cam.com/video/z1BlzpnymUI/v-deo.html I agree it would look lovely as a cowl.
thanks for answering my questions, l have never used circular needles before. am used to normal needles just bought a size 10mm and knitted a cowl in sirdar wool. just have to sew it up and then make it bigger. x
Thank You for posting this excellent "How To" video for the Trinity Scarf. How many balls of Twilley's of Stamford Freedom wool are required to make this scarf and what are the finished measurements? It's great to watch "professional" quality videos with clear, concise instructions (great audio and camera angles!). Greetings from Belle River, Ontario, Canada (across the pond!)
Chris Luhowy - Some how I managed to miss your question. This scarf would take between 350 and 400g. Free written instructions to this video guide can be found here: WEBSITE: thecastingoncouch.com .A Belated thank you for your lovely comments about my video, and I do hope you managed to make this scarf in the end!
We are exchanging the knots from one needle to other each time.. At the end how will you take the needle out from the knots? I mean how to finish the shawl? I don't know anything about knitting. Got interested watching ur vids. Help me. Thanks in advance
Have you got the free printed instructions from my web site? It may help if you have that to hand whilst watching the video. For eg on Row 2: Begin with your edge stitch and k1. Then you go into the next stitch and create three stitches from one by k1, p1, k1 into the very same stitch and placing the increased stitches onto your right needle as you work them. When all 3 stitches are formed it is safe to slip the original stitch away from the left needle. Next you purl 3 stitches together. Those two sequences form the knots. The knots are staggered and you will need to pay attention to the video and instructions to ensure you are following the repeat correctly. Hope this helps
The gloves are a knitting pattern that you can purchase from TheCastingOnCouch.com. If you click on this link :ua-cam.com/video/69i0hnSNMuQ/v-deo.html this video will reveal how to do the main pattern for the gloves in the round.

Multiples of 6 , plus 2, ie 6,12,18,24, 30,36,42,48,54,60,66,72,78 etc for the pattern and two for the edge stitches.
