In the end it is dry kind and kind of roasted, with a lumbery and rosemary flavor. It is served on a flat wide pan. So neither the way of cooking it, nor the ingredients, nor the texture, nor the serving is right, what they depict is nothing like paella hahaha. Second of all, Valencia is in the mediterranean in Europe, very close to France and Italy, so our skin is white and we are european. That person does not look at all like a person from Valencia xD, not that I have nothing against it. But for me, they way it feels, so that US people can understand as an american analogy, its as if they depicted american turkey as a pasta dish made with pork, and the person cooking it was an eskimo. And now imagine they call the pasta dish with pork, which the eskimo cooked, "typical thanksgiving American Turkey". This is exactly how it makes me feel as a Valencia. So they got everything wrong haha xD
This game is an accurate depiction of the match between Germany and Austria at the 1982 world championships. Germany took an early 1:0 lead and both teams just stopped trying to score any more goals because the result meant both would advance, depriving Algeria from a chance to either overtake Germany (in case of a draw or Austrian win) or Austria (if Germany won by 2 goals or more).

I think if you’re too young or not from the US you might not catch the reference in the “OPEN WIDE FOR SOME SOCCER!” part at the beginning. In the 90’s when ABC used to do Monday Night Football they’d have this guy with a cowboy hat and glasses sing a country song that would go “ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!” in the same tone. Couple of things I noticed. In the 90’s when ABC used to do Monday Night Football they’d have this guy with a cowboy hat and glasses sing a country song that would go “ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!” in the same tone. Simpsons was the best show back then lol.

Couple of things I noticed. Pele's voice is the same voice as Katenge from the Simpsons Go To Africa episode, and the music they use during the riot is the same music you hear when Mr. Burns finds Bobo on that strange planet at the end of the Bobo episode, with Smithers as some kind of robotic dog. Also, Willie's Scottish buddies here are all a pale yellow, and Willie is the more conventional yellow.
