My wife and I made the decision to leave the city and live in the countryside in January 2022. I sold all my possessions and bought a plot of land in the countryside. I bought cows, goats, chickens and rabbits and lived the real life. My physical and psychological health improved greatly. And asbjorn olsen-berg bushcraft played a big role in these steps. Your videos affected me greatly. I would like to thank you. Thank you. Thank you

My favorite channel! I love the forest, sheer beauty of nature no one pester you. A wood worker's dream 😍 I'd love to buy a small piece of land up in the mountains and build my little cabin.
I gotta say that i watched this last night after a lot of challenges with my mentally handicapped daughter and i felt my heartrate dropping with each minute i watched this. You’re performing medical cardiology and you didn’t even know it!😊. NQU
The thing I love most about your videos is the smoothness of it all. The way you make sure to slowly give us every detail with precision is one I strive for the calmness and love for detail is something I need for bushcraft cheers 🎉❤🙏

I would be happy to be alone in a winter woodland/forest shelter for days, even weeks; winter preferred (no bugs). I look forward to every video you post - not so much the shorts though. ❤
It's great 😉 I realized a lot of people don't like short films... But they is now helping with the development of the channel, and this is important for the continuation of my work on the video, you understand? 😏
@@AsbjornOlsenBergBushcraft Thank you for answering. I do understand about the shorts, but they always leave you wanting more, and I certainly want your success in the endeavor so that your videos continue. ❤️

Listening to a fireplace in operation somewhere in the Norwegian wilderness makes me hate the fact significantly less that I have to work 13 hours on a Saturday. :)
OLSEN… great videos and the amazing way you built the dogout. Congratulations! Just a question, have you ever experienced or faced a bear or any wild animal or a weard encounter alone in the woods? Shouldn’t you have a more segure door Lock window lock?
Hi Asbjorn 👋 I’m revisiting this video, about a year and half after you posted it. I watched the original videos too, when u constructed this dugout shelter, and enjoyed them very much. Just a quick question.. what was the stick seasoning that you broke up into your pot of tea, at about the middle of the video..? ✌️🪓🔪
Absolutely love your videos. It appears you added wooden boards on top of your log roof? Is that correct? Just wondering as I would like to build a similar structure. Also, in your original build video, you used river mud/clay on your fireplace. But when you were doing the firebox and chimney portion the mortar then looked grey color? Did you use a different kind other than river mud/clay? Thank you very much for sharing your talents and efforts in making these short movies!
Greetings Asbjorn, amazing shelter, nice work, congratulation, it is very relaxing to watch these videos of survival and primitive constructions, just out of curiosity, where are you from, and where is this forest?
Just wondering how many people really want to live alone a couple of days in winter in such a forest shelter. Vote in the comments! :)
I would definitely live like this for at least 6 months of the year.
One would need a certain amount of skill, knowledge and strength, but I romanticize the idea and wish I could. 😊
I need this.
I want to... capable...? Not so much lol😆
