  • The Bible in the book of Sirach 25:2 speaks of three people that the Lord cannot stand:
There are three kinds of people I cannot stand, whose behaviour I find highly offensive: poor people who are arrogant, rich people who lie, and foolish old men who commit adultery.

Thank you Minica and WaKiama for this teaching. Reminds me of my late parents. Our mum would not accept a gift if we did not buy for both of them. She would ask you to keep it until you afforded for both. I see the wisdom she had as she did this more clearly now.

As for the kids born out of marriage most men get married to the mothers knowing too well their is a child, but for men they keep it secret and even if they introduce them to current family they still keep in touch with the women because most men cannot give without expectations.

No Monica, curses can be overthrown by a higher spiritual power/leader. Remember Jacob cursed his three sons, Ruben, Simeon and Levi but later Moses blessed them, Levi became the priest.

My point is that, all is not lost after a curse, just like after we sin, don't we sin every day? Just because there is a curse in the bloodline, nobody should die in it.
