HMS Duke of York at the North Cape.
I tried some experimental technics like lightning, frost, and funnel smoke.
Those technic are very rough, I need to develop more to make them right.
Anyway, it is not completely satisfactory, I did my best to deliver this video.
I hope you guys like it.

With the lightning illuminating the Ship from one side only, it might have been an idea to paint the shadow side
a much darker colour.

This diorama looks extremely good. Especially the lightning gives a whole new dimension to it. Superb work!
Do you think it would be possible to build a diorama like this and then fill everything above the waterline up with transparent resin? I had this weird idea of a resin table with a model ship fully immersed into it.
I think the effect would'nt work and it would just be a waste of resin. In my opinion, just a 24x48 coffee table with a similar sized diorama inside and a smaller window top like 12x36 to peek into would be a really nice piece I'd totally rock in my living room!!

한 가지 질문드릴 점이 있는데, 혹시 프라이머 후 바예호/AK 붓질 시 덧칠은 몇 번이나 반복하시는지요? 초보 걸음마 단계인 저는 항상 너무 진하게 반복하는 것 같습니다. 덕분에 제작 중인 미주리의 Measure 22 위장도 너무 진하게 나와서 재도색 중이네요 ㅠㅠ

덧칠은 색에 따라 달라서 말씀드리기 어렵네요. 밝은 색일 수록 덧칠을 많이 합니다.
보통 몇번하는지 세어보진 않고 그냥 원하는 발색이 나오면 그만하는 정도 입니다.
검은색은 한두번, 흰색은 4-5번까지 보통 하는거 같네요.

To light the lightning side panel, did you put the LEDs along the bottom edge of the clear side panel?
Oh man... When you were sculpting the waves at the very start, it took me right back to the 3rd grade making a 3D map of the States for a class project. I hadn't thought about that in decades.
I think the cotton spray on the waves kinda breaks the illusion a bit. But I have no idea how to do that effect better. Good luck with future experimenting, though!
What kind of soft did you use to model 3d prints?
Z brush for 3d modeling and Chitubox for slicing.
