Good afternoon friend! 🥰 I do not cut back my Hardy Hibiscus until in Spring when I see new growth emerging from the base of the plant. I then cut the stem down to 6”. They are one of the last perennials to emerge with new growth so don’t worry, it’s not dead. Besides, It offers great Winter Interest in the garden too. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Yes! The evergreens play an important role in our gardens as well.
Thanks Bertha! My goal this year was to add more to the garden. I hope you are enjoying the fall season!🍁🍂🥰
Love all the evergreens especially when the Green has. Blue undertones.💚💙
Cheers!🥰

Hi Friend, I am so nervous about my hibiscus. It says "hardy" , but I am wary. If I dig it up and put in garage will that work to ease my nerves
Which zone are you in? Which one do you have? Is it one of the large blooming Hardy hibiscus? What is the Hardy zone on the tag?
