This boat strikes the balance between dream and practical reality - still aspirational, but not wildly so. I could imagine our family of 4 using this, while occasionally taking grandparents for an overnighter. Wonderfully presented, as always, Nick!

For a coastal cruiser, this is one of the better designs I have ever seen.
The emergency tiller you can tell Beneteau brought that over from their yachting heritage "Brilliant"
I imagine it's there as she's single screw as well, at least with no helm but twin engines you could get your self alongside. With a single engine you have little chance especially with any wind or tide.
Whatta Puhtta - its Perfection at sea. Beneteau continues their cleverness by packaging FIFTY FEET of living into a 35 foot boat. And the detailed extras are impressive. Thanks again Nick.
This would be a great boat to travel up and down the British Columbia coast. Exploring all the islands and inlets. Not too big, so she can get into the tighter spots. Lovely. Another great Aquaholic Tour!

Incredibly impressive "amount of boat" for the short size, and at a more than fair price.
for a 35 foot boat it feels a lot bigger volume wise to your standard 35 foot boat and surprisingly no headroom issues in the deck below ... thanks for sharing another interesting boat Nick

What a cracking little boat, so much in a small size, absolutely love it. First time I have thought i could handle this boat on my own. Small lottery win and i will have one.
I know I like the Fairline Targa 40, but this one has really caught my eye, a perfect boat for all seasons, nice one Nick and thanks for inviting me on board.

This is my favorite boat that you have toured so far. I love the styling of it, the ergonomics are fantastic, but it is the performance figures that intrigue me most. To be able to plod along at 6-7 knots getting 700 miles from the tank is a real incentive for me, still knowing that if things get dicey, I can open the throttle and get home at 20 knots. Brilliant. In a few years time when this particular model is more affordable, it will be the boat that I purchase for the family. Thanks Nick. Keep up the great work.
"plod along at 6-7 knots" is key to keep things affordable on all such heavy semi-displacement boats. Once you're over 12 knots, you're burning diesel faster than a planing hull, despite going half the speed.... Making them expensive to run if you have any sort of time constraints. For retirees, or "boat people" who intend to spend lots of time, not just days/weekends, on board, the increased space, and much softer motion at sea than planning hull, makes them great choices. But you have to have the restraint to lay off that throttle.....
Yet another gr8 tour.
Given the market over recent times, I bet that boat would get more than it's money back and if you want a 2023 model than you can expect add at least another 100K on. Crazy times.

1:55 I laughed way harder than I should have at the “before, after” thing 😂.
I really like this one, only 35 feet, but with the trawler style it’s got tons of space inside and a fairly cheap price for the amount of boat as you might expect from Beneteau. And even as a trawler it can get up some speed which I think make this swift trawler series very appealing. My favorite thing about the trawler boats is the big tall wind screens. On the sports cruisers the wind screens always seem too narrow vertically. Great video Nick! Thanks for the tour!

This is a seriously good boat. In fact I think the whole Beneteau Swift Trawler range is fantastic. I really like trawler style boats, they’re usually so practical, workman like and unpretentious. As usual, a superb tour Nick.
Love the seat trick, seat open, seat closed, very Tommy Cooper 😆 in fact should you lose your deck shoes over the side you can do
another trick by just clicking your fingers and getting them back on deck again........just like that 🤣

My best friend is French. They tend to buy English boats. I have to say this one is a 9.9 as a favoured critic. If only there were a laundry washer/dryer. I would happily purchase this as a get up and go. The French know how to boat soft or hard weather.

I love the light blue and white strips on couch and bed sheet designs. They are light, yet colourful and blend in very well with traditional light wooden boat interior designs.

I've found a couple of reasons why the toilets on boats are called heads, which one is true, I don't know but they're both feasible.
The first one is on old sail boats there was normal a figure head at the front of the boat, being a sail boat, the wind would normally come from the stern so when sailors needed to go they used to go to the "head".
The second one came from the anchor chain tube which was known as the "head" tube, allegedly when sailors needed a number two they used to use the "head" tube to do the business.
The first is the most common one and, I believe, correct.
The use of space on this 35 footer and the clever details are amazing. It gives you all that is needed and sleeps a family. Of course, some are never happy and compare it to more expensive brands, not realizing that the price difference is sometimes an additional apartment in some countries. I want a 58 footer, but my wife and banker say no.

Gotta say that is a very impressive package. Had to have a bit of a chuckle to myself at the end though when YT suggested in have another look at your walkthough of the Beneteau Swift Trawler 40 which was listed at 300K. An extra 5 feet for 10K.... bargain.
Bear in mind that the other boat is 6 years old - this is brand new

Don’t think I’ve ever been this early
When horse drawn trams where introduced ladies needed some basic privacy on the upper deck so boards where attached to the handrails, like on this Swift Trawler 35. Later on adverts where painted on and that's why we still have ads along the sides of double decker busses to this day .

As always great Magical review, great boat ,great price, very practical, that side opening really is a great idea, I have had to do it on my own before on a windy choppy day. Bow and Stern thrusters become your best friends on those days, for a single engine boat to have the thrusters it's very good,

Not sure on the beach club bit, I think fixed seating is probably more comfortable, but a lovely little ship. You could sail this single handed.
Agree, the only main negative from this boat. I don't get why there not an option of a fixed and more substantial cockpit bench on offer
