Merry Christmas Phil! You’re the best! Thank you for all of your greatly detailed videos and for all of the hard work that goes into making them! 🎅🎄🎁🎁🎁🎁
@digitaldjtips Thanks for the acknowledgement. I'm recovering from injuries and I am steadfastly working towards my goals to be a Music therapist and DJ'ing is therraputic for me.
i do like how you tested that deck cover.... definitely worth going for. btw phill how come you don't have an affiliated program for all these products you review?
I started back in 1987, my cousin had two rigs. Most times, she played the shows, but some weeks there would be 2 bookings. I'd take her #2 rig.. run the show. And she'd pay me 70% of her fee.. Records? At home.. she was in the radio disc jockey pool and would get all the hit 45s ( green label ) that were distributed.. we would then record the songs to...?? Bam bam bahhh... cassette!!! There was no CD or DVD burning in 1987.. at least not what we could afford playing weddings and fire halls in rural Nova Scotia Canada... I started buying records again in Tampa Florida 1997 ( world underground records.. hey Ted!! ) .. moved back to Canada in 2000. Had kids... And ✋️ stopped 😊 My hommie convinced me to start again this past September.. Bought a Hercules 200 MK2 . The Djuiced system WORKS!!!. But. I moved up.. A Christmas gift to myself, I just bought the DENON SC LIVE 4.. ENGINE DJ IS VERY INTUITIVE.. .. DJ EVERYDAY!!. even for 30 minutes.. That hands on time ? You can't put a price on it..
I love this story. we used to "split our rigs" for double bookings, I'd hide a cassette deck under the record decks to obscure the fact I was playing recordings... from the radio! Ah, to be a 15-year-old budding DJ again.

Decksaver for me is a game changer. Yeah they arent cheap (when compared to a cover) but defo worth the investment
Agreed!

I think it would prob stop them being as impartial
@@Tyronnster yeah you know that's a good point. because phil really does honest reviews.
