Did Vo2max 20 odd years ago myself. Didn't really understand why I was doing it. Would like to watch another video where you talk about interpretating the results.
When testing maximum oxygen uptake, when should the lactate concentration be tested and how often should it be tested? I also wanted to do a VO2 max test and test the lactate concentration at the same time. Also, do you know when to test lactate concentration during training? Hope you can see this question.OvO
This test looks fun I don’t like the stopping bit plus this guy got horrible form hill strikeing there’s all different ones of these test there one where my mate had to run for 19min I think every min it increases pace
@Baum Squad I don’t know. Prefontaine and frank shorter were both very very prominent heel strikers. I haven’t seen much of a correlation in personal experience.
@Baum Squad I will grant you that form matters more in shorter distances, but still, heel striking is very common among pro marathoners. It’s not an injury risk and I personally see it all the time in sub 2:20 marathoners. 🤷♂️ just my opinion

Next video to come out is a more detailed look at training with data so hopefully that helps :)
@@Trackstaa_ looking forward to it.

It’s a good experience
By the way your video is very helpful
Roughly, how long does a person have to run to get a v02 max of 60?? Roughly.??
What were the results
A secret ;) joking vo2 max was 73
@@Trackstaa_ what was the threshold speed and lactate level?
@@ziskablyat8451 19 was 3.8 mmol
@@Trackstaa_ Cool🤘
@@Trackstaa_ please tell at each speed your mmol: 14km/h, 15km/h, 16km/h...?

Only 5min warm up?
The lower paces of the threshold test also warm you up. Although I would have preferred to do longer

Yeah you have to stop every 3 minutes for a lactate test because you need to test the lactate levels. But yeah he does have horrible heal striking
Heel striking being a sign of poor form is a myth.
