When I was young, I loved the science behind finding ways to destroy offenses in college football (IE Blitz Glitches). Now 20 years later I really just want to play straight up and not have to have my brain and fingers on autopilot configuring the linemen, safeties and being a wizard manually controlling the middle linebacker. The work required of my brain to get back to being competitive is like having a second job. I stopped playing Madden 2 years after college football went away because it was just overload. And now I'm faced with a choice. Either go back into brain/finger gymnastics or suck at the game. And although I thought I'd never see the day, I'm almost to the point where I'm willing to just suck. I refuse to lower the difficulty because of my pride, and I know playing online there will be no mercy from the glitch mob that spend all day looking for these unstoppable blitzes that ruin the fun. It's all frustrating at this point that I have to turn back into a semi-pro e-sports gamer to really be decent at this game. I know that's who they made the game for but I'm 40 plus and just want to have fun playing a game I grew up on.
The fact that only 5 defenses are effective AFTER multiple pre snap adjustment literally tells you this game is broken. If youve been running the same D for 10 years 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 the game is broken.

I think no matter the mode, a defense should be built and run according to its highest OVR players. But that's hard to do 🤭
