Charice aka Jake was KZ's mentor during her X Factor Philippines journey which KZ became the grand winner. KZ sang this song in that said competition. KZ has this humbling gesture of giving back to those who have helped her (in one way or another) in her singing career as to where she is now. Bree, you can check out Kz's audition in X Factor Philippines where she sang the classic Somewhere Over the Rainbow and there you'll see the beginning of what KZ is now. In that audition, she said that she wanted to prove that singing is not only for belters and that she had undergone a surgery (she had a polyp in her vocal cords). The surgery took away her vocal range but then, this is the birth of her unique singing style that we love. thanks!
