Opening phone is easy. Just used an old credit card (sanded one side), a suction cup and a hairdryer. After removing the screen, I discovered that the connector of the flex-cable (4:11) was disconnected. After connecting, it worked just fine. It seems a known problem: on top of the connector you can see a plastic strip. Probably to prevent disconnecting. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the tip! I had the same problem, connector was only disconnected. I opened phone, took flex cable away for a moment, connected it again and buttons worked again! What a project but perfect solution with almost zero budget. I bought only double sided tape to close phone again.
@@berkguler7241 buttons just suddenly stopped working. It happened after that again and again and again. I moved to the next phone after few times (had other problems too).
@@Roshan864 thank for your response, although it has been some time since I fixed it, the screen sometimes shines through the side. I don't know if it stuck properly
Thanks. Me: I'm pretty sure the power button died after the phone got wet. Repair shop: Sorry, uneconomical to repair. Result: 1 x button from Ebay £4.39 + free help via UA-cam + approx. 90 minutes work including breaks = fixed phone.
Thanks man. I repaired it. Not even had to buy a new power button, the old one was probably just detached or misalligned. Best
Thank you for showing where the power button makes contact with the mother board. That was loose in my phone, you save me a lot of trouble

Thank you! I just fixed my phone's power button watching your video.
Thanks I repaired my daughters phone using your video.👍
How to switch it off if the whole powerflex is already not working ? Volume buttons and power button doesn't react
same problem, and it can't be turned off with app too (it will turn on by itself)
Thanks , I did fix my phone with watching your video
Nice work, I used your video to change my physical buttons also, but I have a question before I put it to the test, is it still waterproof?
It will be water resistant but you have to make sure the seal is 100% stuck together.
I wouldn't put it in water if I was you.

@@nasostsaplaris7124 I probably wouldn't trust it in water at all if you see the backlight shining from the side.
Will the datas still be safe after repair?
Thank you soo much brother 🙏❤️
Will my data still be saved in the phone after the repair?
