Son lost his dad at 23 yrs old and Toshihiko died so young. Father time is not forgiving and his son knew all his moves since he has been playing him all his life.

Long ago, Koga came, and surprised the Judo World. I was coming out of competitive judo, but faced Yamashita.

His son is Taisei team, that's to my knowledge the high school national team. His son has good defense, after Koga got the soto makikomi, his son lost confidence and didn't counter attack anymore. He was content to just stall his dad out, but he did out grip (kumi kata) his dad

I'm really surprised to see koga, with all his competition experience, can't ippon his teenage son. He seemed tired by the end.

not done judo for 10 years but I know what Koga is going to do, every one in the judo world have practiced his moves. His moves are like a bible to learn

this isnt prime koga. in his prime if koga got that grip at 11:30 it was basically over.

Yep that's the grip for him. He would just spin and toss for a ippon.

Wow! Toshihiko switched his usual right side to left side. Since he sees that his son knows his signature reverse grip kumi kata, he used a more orthodox, yet odd method. Hayato should have used his Dad's Kenka Yotsu defense instead.
