I've been watching a lot of reactors since EP 1 dropped and I tell you that most of them aren't ready for what's going to happen. I will be enjoying on how they react tho :>
I know I’m like half spoiled/half not and from what little bit I read… I’m really wondering how the show will handle it or even like desensitize or almost ‘delicate-ize’ it. I do not think general audiences , of like say my mother and even mainstream press, are ready for this shit.
also reallly wondering if they’re gonna give us something concrete or leave it slightly ambiguous. and what they’re say post ep. like if this is the concrete answer from george, ya know.
@@taylor11111 I think, and this is just my theory, that something very much non-platonic will happen between Rhaenyra and Daemon but it would make sense for them not go all out. The most acceptable scenario is if Daemon just refuses to 'get to the last stage' so to say cause he has a burst of consciousness that Rhaenyra is his very young niece.

Idk so much they could do with it. I’m very very curious. Esp bc I know milly is leaving soon. And I’m wondering if we’ll get any kind of overtly romantic scene between them or if they’re waiting for emma to have it be less ‘jarring’ to the gen public.

This is an amazing couple. Both are similar to each other, both in my eyes are real dragons. Their story is truly epic and tragic. What surprises me the most is how strong the chemistry between the actors is. Fire combination. It is a pity that the actress will be changed :( I look forward to the development of relations. Your work is very good, I will wait for more.

@@eremitiavinea Daemon's features are just sharper and more angular but still it's obvious for me that Viseris is his brother. Funny that Patty and Matt were the first choise for producers, probably they cast Emma to be alike.
This is one of the main reasons I want the rumors in episode 4 to be about them..I just want these two actors on my screen together one last time before they switch her out

Another wonderful edit OP. I love the parallels between them this EP. Can't wait for EP 4 where Daemon is finally back at Red Keep! Also I always love the detail that Rhaenyra was holding on to the necklace when the tourney was going on.

Don't get me wrong, I ship Daemon and Rhaenyra. But I don't trust the showrunners/writers.
The fact that Criston Cole is going to be Rhaenyra's "first man" pains me. But the fact that Nettles will be Daemon's last woman (concubine) is even more painful.
The books also doesn't help with all the rumors and speculations. I'll be waiting on how they handle EP 4 first tho coz that will be the turning point

@@Addam_ I read the book a long time ago. A friend lent it to me. I don't remember all the details but it seemed to me that it was the opposite, that it was Rhaenyra who had asked Viserys to marry Daemon but that it was not possible because Daemon was still married to Rhea Royce.

I love how you tell a story with the way you weave the scenes together. For example, the parallel with the throne scene vs the bridge scene, showing how Rhaenyra isn't afraid to confront him and rather than being angry about that, he seems to admire that ruthless part of her. He sees himself in her, they are two sides of the same coin, the same fire in their veins. The parallels with the stepstones fighting and the boar was also perfectly done. They have a madness to them, slightly feral, but fitting for dragons. They are each others equals. And I think they recognize that too, deep inside maybe. Instinctively? Like recognizes like.

Definitely, but you should be careful not to get spoilers from what's going to happen. Serials like this aren't really my style but I love it and now I've started watching game of thrones (too late I know!) and it's going great. I'm already in season 3 and I'm writing this because I would have regretted it if I hadn't watched it. So definitely don't stop and do it!
