Jon killing Dany was about the only thing in S8 that made sense. 🤷🏿♀️ Jon never should have been with her. Also unlike Jon/Dany there's so much more with Rhaenyra & Daemon.
Jon and Dany didn’t remotely have the chemistry Daemon and Rhaenyra do. Plus it actually made no sense for them to be together as their personalities would automatically clash. Jon killing her was the only logical thing in that whole storyline

D&D can't build Jon & Dany relationship on GoT because they only got 2 season (when GRRM says it has to be done in 5 more season to build their relationship) and there's a lot plot line for each characters. while here in HoTD, the story goes straight to Rhaenyra so everyone focus and attention will serve for Rhaenyra cause. Daemon for example, everyone will focus on things between him & Rhaenyra than him and Otto. when things were actually about Daemon vs Otto.
The actors make me forget about the incest. I just see two characters falling in love and who have been sadly and deliberately kept a part from the King. His weakness to do the right thing for his daughter, their House and the throne will most likely have consequences in the future.
Letting his younger brother fuck his daughter is not the King doing the right thing. If this happened in the real world it would be called sexual abuse and Daemon would be sent to prison.

At the end of the day I don't doubt that Daemon is going to just use Rhaenyra by marring her to get himself on the Iron Throne with their own children like in the books. I hope that in the series somehow the writers will change this into something more passionate between them not the same thing with Jon and Dany. They are giving me Jamie and Cersei vibes since the only thing that we can say is that everyone in this time only wish one thing: Power or Death. Til now I see that the series is following the books and I must admit they did a incredible job! Xx
