I agree with you. This is one of Maisto's best early efforts. The original release came with branded tires (!!!). I have the topless version and displays and photographs really well. Good review!
I have seen a Bburago hardtop version that doesnt come with the A-pillar quarter glass which is interesting, given it otherwise looks identical to this one. More differences: the bburago does not have hubcaps (the wheel pins are visible), heck, it does not even have brake discs. It's headlights have small transparent pegs. But for that the Bburago interior is more detailed, like you got chrome ferrari horses on the floor etc.
Pretty sure that there is real mesh down in those ventilation ducts in the hood, I'm not speaking for sure but Exotic Diecast did a review and he said you could se light through it when the hood was up. Beautiful car, considering buying it. Either this or the Centenario.
I have one of these and im going to re paint it in metallic blue but do you have any idea on how to remove all the paint except the black line that runs around the car? And the same for spraying it
Beautiful old school hypercar

Made the right choice :) glad that this beauty is coming to my collection
is there any coat you can apply to protect the paint in the car?
I have one that identical to this one, it has real mesh the front air intake.

Just got the same model from Costco but in Yellow. Got lucky cause it was the only one left. It looks badass.
It is great, but BBurago version is much better, the only thing it doesn't have is active suspension

Is it better than the Burago version? Im thinking of buying another F50 model; but I am not sure whether it worth my while. Should I go for it?
