That matte black is gorgeous, but the non opening frunk and engine lid are a deal breaker for me. The Maisto is just a better buy with the seats, suspension, caliper lettering and the ability to open all the doors

How about painting the engine/exhaust on the bottom chrome or metallic where the oil pan is? Car looks a little plain down there with black plastic where metal parts should be; I prefer the silver/chromed engine/exhaust details like on my Bburago 996 C2. I just bought this car because it's one of the few models that has a sunroof, which I prefer. It came used, missing one mirror sticker with some gouges in the paint. Filled those in with some Amaco silver leaf; not perfect, but less noticeable. Still trying to figure out how to fix the mirror.

How dimensionally accurate are these models to their full size counterparts? Im looking at a hw elite testarossa for the purpose of making plans for a full size kit car (for personal use) and i need to be able to use NOS parts for the windshield, grilles, lights ,etc.

Saying Bburago and Maisto are pretty much the same company, same models... is as saying Autoart and minichamps are the same company. Maisto different then Bburago, Maisto was always step above Bburago on modelling, more on scale and better finnish and better paint and less cluncky wheels and softer-better tyres
