Best vassal swarm is Poland becoming HRE emperor, adding all the land, breaking the ottomans into tiny states that join the HRE because you released them, then pass the reform to vassalize all of the HRE.
But the HRE is only limited to Europe and Anatolia in EU4, while you can have unlimited daimyo vassals as a shogunate all over the world, just remember to separate your daimyo vassals with land controlled by yourself. So, as a Shogun, you can create the largest vassal swarm theoretically.
@@Hydrophiidae No, there is an exploit to add other nations into the HRE. It involves taking the target's most developed province (be it their capital or not), coring and stating it, then deliberately giving away your own capital in a war (making sure that the target province is your most developed province not counting your capital). This means that your capital will be moved to the province you just took, and since you are the Emperor, your capital cannot be moved outside the HRE, so the province gets added automatically to the HRE, despite the fact that it is not in Europe. You then take back your original capital and move your capital back. The target province will remain in the Empire, enabling you to sell it back to its original owner (or just return core, same deal). Take target country's current capital to force them to move it to the province in the HRE, and voilà. Target becomes a Prince in the HRE. Note that the target will not be retroactively vassalised, however, and will hence remain largely independent until the final "Renovatio Imperii" reform is passed, unifying the HRE as a big teal blob. This works best against Ming, who is always a problem to annex in WC runs due to truce times.

Heyy, Mr. Spiff your "Country Cheese" has actually made me quite interested. I have an idea now! A couple of patches before Mr. REMAN made a nation spotlight for an absolute MONSTER - the "Minghal nation", in which you basically jump from MING empire into MUGHAL SULTANATE, which can spawn a "THREATENING BLOB" TM waaay too early in the game. But the devs "fixed" it with a patch in which you can't form MUGHAL SULTANATE if you are "Celestial Empire"... But with theese thingies you've shown us we can probably make Ming into an "INDEPENDENT NATION" then make it whatever, BUT the Celestial empire, do NOT loose mandate aaand - Have a FIRE NATION (like in Avatar) in EU 4!
Britain was technically never an empire. The king of England was also the duke of Hanover and there couldn't be any emperors in the HRE other than the Emperor.

@@utubefuku7132 if you dont have the shogun goverment type they will become regular vassals i believe
An amazing glitch but an older one. Great vid Spiff breaking my favorite game
Rumour has it that Spiff can't find an exploit in 'Raid Shadow Legends' so is unable to upload a video about it.....
or he just hasn't been sponsored by them and is salty

you can't find exploits in a game that doesn't allow you to actually do anything
The exploit is to not play...
The game literally everyone expected
Nice exploit, potentially also useful for the Cherrypicking achievement, where you have to conscript a 3-star-general from one of your vassals.
What are you The Spiffing Eleven? Oh well I have my tea.
I had this on my watch list, and I figured that since I grabbed a cup of tea, this would be a splendid time to watch it.
I'm a yank, but all of The Brits UK Nationalism jokes are so funny 🤣
"There is currently a stack of 45 thousand peasants sieging down their capital"
About time :D I have been waiting for you to take on this glorious game. A lot of EU IV videos to come, I hope!
Britain was technically never an empire. The king of England was also the duke of Hanover and there couldn't be any emperors in the HRE other than the Emperor.
The Japanese tea ceremony, also called the Way of Tea, is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha .In Japanese, it is called cha-no-yu or sadō, chadō while the manner in which it is performed, or the art of its performance, is called (o)temae . God I love Wikipedia .
@20:35 started searching for about 5 mins after i heard that Discord ping sound
Spiff, you are literally the reason I have a box of Yorkshire Tea in my kitchen, replacing my coffee, and curing me of my bean addiction.
This is actually used in Ryukyu achievement runs
No, the ryukyu strategy is to make ryukyu get the daymio goverment type. This has nothing to do with the exploit in this video
@@desthexdesthex9163 I said this to see how many people like for no reason

God, it feels so nice to see spiff go back to paradox games, it makes me think of the old times when HOI4 hadn't yet been milked to death

The British would like to have a word with you.
Portuguese* fixed it
Love the vids and the Yorkshire Tea. Keep up the good work
Come November:
The United States Electoral College is a perfectly balanced system with no exploits.
"That's right ladies and gentlemen we are going to exploit the Electoral College to make all the votes go to the Queen. What this will do is effectively make the United States a British colony once more. Perfectly balanced."

"They will feel indebted to us and never ever rebel"
Were it so easy. IRL
Shimazu clan took a loan from the Shogun to pay off reparations to the British (After losing a war to it) and also got an arms deal for it.
That loan was never paid back and the Shimazu clan was instrumental in overthrowing the shogunate... in part with weapons it has used the shogun's money to buy.
"Oh look it's the thirteen colonies, back when they were good and well behaved"
We're sorry! Take us back!
Filthy turncoat
Disgusting

Given the choice between the two current world leaders... do you really want to switch sides right now?
Nah anarchy is the way. With a tea based trading system
Spiff is the first youtuber to turn Let's Plays into Let's QAs.
20:30 Was I the only one who stopped the vid and checked Steam, thinking: "Who msged me on Steam *now* ?" :D
Yes you were the only one. You are the only one in this world who is using steam and you are Gaben's best and only friend.
Sine Porfa I see. Some ppl are trying really hard to be funny. You’re almost there, don’t you ever give up mate!
I have been waiting for this for so long. I might actually drink tea just for this occasion.
with a mod that removes the in game time deadline you could conquer all of asian with this method xD
You are able to play paste the end date if you select that in the settings at the beginning of the game
I love your content. But I'd throw that tea into the harbor again in a heartbeat.
"An extra diplomat in this game is useless" That's extremely far from the truth but okay. diplomats are less relevant in some playstyles I guess but always good for a lot of reasons
Oh brooo, you made my day. I love keeping vassals and I always have them over the limit. This exploit is something I always dreamt about
How many of these stock images have you bought knowing they'll probably never be used except for this one occasion.
I think Spiff has a license to their entire library.
Watch more videos, he uses them lots of times. Not to mention the revenue from one video would cover many image licences.
I have been playing the EU series since the first one, and this has to be the best EU quote ever: "Considering most players don't finish a campaign, you will be well versed in the history of 1444." I spit out my heretical bean juice on that comment.
0:09 Did I just see that fish was worth more than tea?
Day 19 of asking Spiff to play Battle Realms. EU4, underrated GEM~
his videos sometimes feel like how they treat us in real life just explained in games
