yeah! me too. where’s the post-accident footage?!?! that’s what many of us actually care about. that dude took the ride of his life after a fast pass. I’d like to know what happened next
This week has set the bar very high for all the other drag n drive events. I really don't thing any of them can reach high enough to top Sick Week. Great job Tom and crew, one hell of a show.
Great event! Tom I have been playing with cars and a race fan for 50 years. When I saw Ayden crash it really upset me. I have seen many crashes over the years and this was different. Maybe because I knew you were watching. Maybe because I enjoyed your father/son journey so much at Rocky Mountain Race week. I am so glad he is okay. Best of luck to both of you in the future.
Yeah I second Russell's comments , well said. As an Aussie observing from afar, we can only dream of a fun event with so many cars and characters . Looking forward to next year too.
Awesome event. Wasn’t able to make it this year. Watched the live feed everyday. Thank you Tom, and all people/vendors who made this event possible. So glad to here Ayden was ok after his wild ride. Looking forward to next year.
Sick Week 2022. Thank you Tom and the team. Thank you drivers, co-drivers, support and safety crews, event and checkpoint hosts and thank you to all the volunteers. Outstanding! Cheers from Australia🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
America has such a fabulous heritage of cars. Seeing them loved and tuned is brilliant. You know, I grew up in the UK and moved to the States. I try to tell UK folk how wonderful the people are in America, but they don't want to believe me. So I point to videos like this where you can see how happy and caring Americans are to each other. And how much more fun you can have in the States than just about anywhere else.
Glad is OK a very wild ride for him, and a big thank you Tom Bailey for doing this event, Sick Week is in the books as the best Drag and Drives I have watched on UA-cam looking forward to 2023 Sick Week.
Before I watch this video, let me say, Tom, you did a fantastic job with Sick Week. The logistics of an event such as this have got to be crushing, to say the least. You guys pulled it off like this was the 20th Sick Week, and that is really an accomplishment. I'm sure you will find things to fine-tune as it's just most car guys' personalities to tweak it till you get it even better, but I hope you're so very proud of the outcome and success. I was glad to hear Ayden wasn't injured. That car's name may be prophetic. So, just like the rest of the Drag and Drive fans, we are all looking forward to your next effort. Thank you very much, it's just what we all needed.
Been waiting for this video since Friday night!!! Seeing that wreck on the livestream, my dad and I were praying for Aiden and were so happy to hear the announcement that he was out of the car and ok.
Fifth time I’ve seen this accident, and my heart still ends up in my throat. Glad he’s okay. This event was such fun to watch. Thanks for all the work you put into it…
Tom, thank you for putting this event on. It was awesome to follow along with and I know you’ve inspired a lot of us to get off our butts and join you!
What a great event Tom. Thanks to You and Motion Race Works. Awesome content all week. Has to be an event that You put on every year. Congrats Tom.👍🆒🤟💯🤣 Aussie Fan 💯🇦🇺🤣
Was able to attend two days and watched the live feed the other three days. Thank you so much for putting on a great event. Looking forward to next year.
Awesome event Tom. I've watched your channel since seeing you with Cleatus on his videos and watched you and Ayden build up the shit box and watched him turn into an amazing driver. My heart skipped a beat when he had his accident on the live feed over here in Oregon. So glad you guys built a safe car and the cage and safety equipment did its job. I been following the drag and drive events on UA-cam the last couple years. Be nice to see one on the west coast aswell. I'm building a drag and drive car and hope to meet you and everyone else in some of these events. I've never been to Florida but hopefully be there racing sick week 2023. Both race weeks too
Can’t wait till next year. Had a great time and came home with the win in DYO. I would highly suggest anyone who wants to do this to do it. Got to drive all over Florida and meet some really cool people. The Sick week drivers were awesome and they support all different types of vehicles that go fast
Earned a new subscription here. Thanks for putting on such a great show and hosting the live streams during the week. Hope your boy is not put off, look forward to coming over from the UK for the next one, travel restrictions allowing… 👏👏👏👍
Thanks for sharing your awesome event on UA-cam so the rest of the world could enjoy it, loved every second of it. Glad Ayden is okay as well. You guys Rock!!!
Thanks Tom and crew! Even from the couch and office chair here in Ontario, Canada, you provided an amazing week of entertainment! Hots off to all of you!
Very thankful that your son is ok. Prayers were said when it happened and continued prayers for his mental rehab of going through something like this. God Bless.
Thanks so much Tom, everyone involved did a stellar job with all of this crazy stuff we call drag racing. I hope to participate in your event in the future. Now I need to focus on getting ready for Drag Week. Thanks again. Much respect.
i watched all day every day online from Iowa and enjoyed every second of it! What an epic event, I can't wait to watch the next one! Thank you to Tom and everyone who worked so hard on this event and of course all the racers!
I enjoyed the show Tom. All the way from Washington State. I literally watched every single minute of the action every feed. Very happy that Ayden is ok after that crazy crash. Hopefully he'll get back on that saddle again sooner than later.
I’d seen Aiden’s crash several times from different angles… then saw it from where I could see the boards, at 163 mph… wow, testament that that car was built right. This video was by far, my favorite of all the Sick Week coverage. Great job with everything…
What a great event you put on, I really enjoyed following you and all the other drivers all week on your channel and I sure glad Aiden is ok that must have been a few heart stopping minutes for you. Looking forward to more of your videos and next years Sick Week this one was awesome! 😁👍👍🇨🇦
Great Camera work, sweet sound, focus stays on action, LOVE the Editing. Good to see Mitchel get the LSXcalade in to the 9's, once sorted, that new combo is going to be real fast.
THANK YOU TOM BAILEY for posting most of the event every day. Could not attend from Ohio, so I watched the entire posts. Almost as exciting as being in a seat. Thanks to GOD that your son is A-OK after the flip. I hope he will be back with a new S... Box.
A great event, Ive watched every piece of footage I can from so many different people. Cant wait til the next one. And cant wait to see the '57 run again, love that car. And god bless Aiden, one hell of a ride that he will learn and grow from. He was safe due to a steel shell and good safety prep work over-seen from a great father. Congrats all round.
Great event, hope to participate next year. My heart goes out to you and Ayden for the wild ride at the end, it was the last race I watched before heading home and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Glad he’s okay to race another time.
The compelling drama from all of the Sickweek content creators..The American SPIRIT that came out when these daredevils faced adversity on the track and on the road. The un-forced emotional highs and lows, That is why SickWeek is the sickest week of your life.
I hope Ayden feels ok and gets back in another ride. That said , thank you for an outstanding event . Great videos ( from all involved ) , great action , appears to be one that everyone wants repeated. Thank you .
I have wanted to go to a Drag & Drive event for yrs now. So..... as of next yr, we have already started making plans and talking to family that's in Florida. We WILL BE @ Sick week 2023 !! Now if everything works out and I can get this car lined out and ready by then, we will also be competing! My Aunt lives in Homasasa Springs FL. Which is about 1.5hrs from Orlando. So that will help with lodging cost. We are coming 100% just have to see if I can get this hotrod race ready !! Thnx for all the uploads Mr Tom. Looking forward to meeting everyone @ Sickweek 2023 !!
Congratulations on putting on an amazing event Tom. I loved seeing the Bel-Airs line up. Seeing Aiden roll his car about made me sick, I'm glad he's ok. That had to be a hell of a ride. Hopefully I'll get to do a drag and drive event one day with my '68 4 door Malibu.
I swear I'm gonna do everything in my power to race and participate next year. This is the stuff I dream of. My car is only a mid 10s stick shift camaro but I've driven it from ky to FL twice (approx 13hrs). Thank you Tom Bailey for putting on this event and keeping racing alive
The event was awesome and I was following a lot of blogs to keep up. I have not heard anything about Ayden after his accident. I was really concerned. Maybe do an update to let us know how he is doing and what his plans are?
