The antique centre's tenants need to price their items better. The audacity to ask for £100 off the bench when he's making at least a 300% profit off. The prices they give during the show are much lower than what they advertise them for later.
They ask what they want to ask and the prices won't vary, if anything they would raise them to allow for the inevitable haggling. But when he sees something cheap he never haggles and often offers more when dealing with a private seller. The cost of Nev restoring the bench will be significant.
You're struggling here. Two businesses strike a deal and neither is a charity. If one business doesn't like the deal, they have all the power to stop it. The more talented business generally wins and the cream rises to the top. There are other elements that you're failing to grasp - this is effectively free TV marketing for the antiques centre. If they give the world the impression that their prices are low, customers will come flocking in. A few quid lost against Drew is well worth the marketing benefits.

Drew has the upper hand as all the crew are standing in front of the buyer and putting pressure on them to sell. I get the free marketing angle. But are they then not attracting the wrong buyers i.e. those that just want to buy at a very low price? Anyway it all makes good tv.
All the Restorers Drew Uses are great, and artists and Masters of their trades, but Nev and his forge stands out for me!
