Towards the end, I can imagine the Brain Bug just sitting there, staring at Verhaegen as he rants at them, thinking "What the hell did I do? It's not _my_ fault some random warrior killed some random, uh, human equivalent of a warrior - " RATATATATAT
if they make a 4th Campaign i hope they include the "Skinnies" into the roster like in Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles TV show. An i hope the main Skinny character we play is similar to T'Phai from the series. Also, they should have the Control Bugs play a big role in the plot. Probably, trying to take over the entire senior military staff and break the Fed command in the sector from the inside out.
The damn bugs denied an honest civilian from cashing out his war bonds, make sure the Federation Insurance agencies compensate the brave Citizens who lost their lives premium insurance rates!
@@MrAsaqe worse, they almost got the civilian falsely killed (or worse] by police due to the false flag operation when he just wanted to cash out those war bonds
I did some searching on the names of the planet and the city and it has some Indian origins. Varuna is a Hindu god with association with the sky and the ocean. Mahanagar is a Hindi word that means metropolis. The landmass of Mahanagar looks like the city state of Singapore.
@@antitroller101 Well in times of war or severe emergency even police can be called upon to augment the military's combat capabilities if need be acting as Auxiliaries.
Am I alone in thinking the voice acting/dialogue writing here was.... sub-par? It just feels cheesy and kinda low effort. I don't really get a true sense of urgency or consequence from the voice actors
@HandsFreeProductions uh... no... there is a difference between parody/satire and bad voice acting. I mean it genuinely sounds like keys is reading from a script. In the actual starship troopers movie it didn't sound anything like this. If you can't tell the difference in quality of acting, there's no helping you anyway.
@@joeyginise6051 The book or the movie? The movie, which this game is based on, is 110% a satire of militarism, nationalism, and corporatism. The book is more straight and non satirical.
R.I.P Keys

Felt bad for the guy, he only wanted his money back
the bugs must have caused a false-flag

Nice
What are the chances of the skinnies for a future dlc?
I hope so.
We press on. 😭
THEY ADDED COPS?
This being ST, should we really be surprised?
@@HeIsAnAli To be fair ST always put focus on the military aspect of the human society, not the civil service and their (badass) capabilities

VO and dialogues are fine for this game.
@@HandsFreeProductions ST is not parody. it is misunderstood Libertarianism.

This has sweet baby ink all over it (the DLC i mean)
o7 to MI troopers, Fleet pilots, and police officers of Mahanagar who fought and died for the Federation.
Try Infamous series or Prototype. It's quite good for those who love superhero game.
New DLC.
