Thanks for your comments. The box next to the mast is hinged and houses the main fuel container. Mounted on top of the box is a block to guide the steering reins and the box is also handy for putting your feet up.😀
David, the canal is closed for renovation and won't open until the Summer. Even then, it will open only for four months, and close again. 0ur first choice was to go round the Peleponese but the winter westerlies were just too persistent and too strong. The truck option was a bit of a gamble but we were lucky with the guys who did the job. Regards, Roy Leask
We used to do that but tying and untying the fenders from the ends of the crossbeams is a bit of a faff. Also, on this passage, stowage space was really at a premium.
I especially appreciated the seamanship in the Corinth canal 😂. Great sailing anyway!
😁
You has to do something about that wind noise: Get mic and a deadcat (which goes over the mic).
Well done guys, it looked a bit cold.
It certainly was!
Very nice Tiki 26. 🙂 What is that box next to the mast? Just a trunk?

Just to add, David, there's a short story about the whole trip downloadable on Amazon. Search Kos to Kefalonia
What is the protrusion just in front of the port skeg?
Puedes enseñar el barco por dentro gracias te sigo desde panam
Gracias por su encuesta. He publicado un nuevo video que muestra el interior de nuestro Tiki, en construcción y terminado
I think I would have removed the fenders ?
