I moved to Las Vegas just before this game got released, and once I discovered it in the arcade of Circus Circus I made NIGHTLY trips there to play this game, and play it, and play it.... I got to the point where I could reliably get to about level 25 each time, and was striving for level 30. This game got ridiculously hard, but it was cool about it. It eased you in pretty slowly, and there were even patterns you could use for each few levels. LOVE THIS!!
UA-cam is the perfect place to showcase the homebrew video game scene. In a perfect world, Atari Interactive would be teaming up with homebrewers to release these titles on Virtual Console and encourage the indie scene. Until then, I'll be on the prowl for a used Atari 7800 somewhere, so I can collect the cartridges. Great work on the games, and thanks for uploading!
WOW! What a remarkable port!! I'll have to order this off the Atari Age soon. This is truly arcade perfect. The screen pausing, the way pac-man foldes when he loses, the speed..everything. Superb job on this port.
Hey Bob. Great to see one of your productions get some UA-cam Footage. It works incredibly well, despite using only the TIA for music and sound effects. And thank you again for making Pac-Man Collection for the system. I will not be giving up this cartridge.
This is a great old game. Someone did a great job on this translation. There's a version of this game on the GBC Ms. Pac Man 'Special Color Edition' cartridge that's pretty great also, just a bit hard to control with a D-pad. Thanks for uploading the video. I enjoyed seeing this version.
Hey, it is without a doubt a grand pleasure indeed, and EXCELLENT to meet you as well, PacManPlusAtari!!! ^-^=b !! And, since you originally are the guy known as "PacManPlus" to start with, I gotta personally congratulate you big-time on such a phenomenal arcade translation of Super Pac-Man on the Atari 7800... it rather definitely deserves a place as one on the sheer best new games on that classic game system that should *never* be missed whatsoever. PERIOD. Fantastic job!!!! (^-^)v !!
Pacmanplus does awesome homebrew work check him out on atariage store and everyone please continue the 7800 love, Its one of my favorite consoles and love the fact that games are still being made and what with the brand new expansion port available any day now the quality of 7800 games is gonna be amazing
Hey, you are *absolutely* quite welcome, mikeferr107... and I am really damn glad I have uploaded this video, because the all-new Atari 7800 version of Super Pac-Man is clearly one of the best versions of the Namco 1982 arcade classic ever created on such an ancient yet so very precious game console indeed, let me just tell you right now!!! (^-^)v ! Excellent comment indeed on this video, and I thank you especially for that!! ;)
Hey, I know Ms. Pac Man was commercially released for the 7800. But was there ever a commercially released Pac Man for 7800?? I didn't grow up with 7800 so I don't know.
Yes it quite as hell is, SAGAIA2... I thought that person of "PacManPlus" did rather a truly fantastic job indeed in successfully handling the whole translation of Super Pac-Man and also in most brilliantly nailing it on the Atari 7800, despite the game system's limitations!! ;) And, what is TREMENDOUSLY so amazing is that it comes as flat-out damn close to the 1982 arcade original of this game as ever... how huge is that!? ^-^=b ! Sure beats the Atari 400/800/5200 versions indeed!!!
I can't wait for this game to come out! This game's audio sounds like that of an arcade machine. This game sounds like it is LOUD!!! I'm curious to find out what this will sound like over a powerful stereo system. But B4 I try and get this game, do you have any idea what the game play is like?

The really stunning thing about this port is how spot-on the sound effects are, considering the old TIA sound chip the 7800 has to work with.

I loved this game as a child. What I find frustrating as an adult today is that I cannot download this game anywhere online. :(
And you are without a doubt *quite* welcome,

I am so buying this when it comes out!!! This game is loud!!
can't hardly wait for it to come out!!!!
@guyvf The pauses from the ghosts are par of the game (changing pattern moves for the ghosts). It's the same exact way on the arcade version
Thank you for showing us the game. It brings us so much joy!
That was awesome! You're a good player!
I wish this was really out for the Atari 7800.
Super PacMan is the best in the series.

Wow! It's excellent
Its like in the arcade
I play this game arcade style. One question, is the feature that pacman can go into the gohst's pen a bug or just something namco put into the game.
I heard there was a cart that someone made of pac-man 2600 arcade. I would like the rom of that. Too bad I can't find it!
Wow... It's really working...
Perhaps somebody launch a Famicom/Nes conversion of this game, using Namcot Profile.

why is inky green?
1:14 spawnkill!!
This Pac- Man at his greediest and most duplitious.
lol i find it weird wen pacman was giant that the ghost looked wide moving sideways and thin moving up and down. good game though
I have the cart.
Yiou can download the actual arcade rom and play it with the MAME emulator.
I'll probly buy it if it's priced reasonably! :) will have to get postage as well :(
its is real, get onto atari age store
One person likes Playstation only.
Sure wish this game was real. It looks awesome.
