I love moss agate but HAVENT ever owned a single piece except for 2 half inch pieces found in a riverstream near my house, but one stone that I polish way too often is definitely quartz, I’ve tumbled all kinds of quartz from super crystal clear to cloudy as a rainstorm, got about 50 lbs of quartz ran through my 3 lb tumbler, the reason, I went to Wegner mine not just for the crystal points, but for the broken pieces I can tumble to show its beauty.

I call tree agate my miracle stone. If you get your hands on euphorolite, I'd love a video about it. It has alot of cassiderite in it. I don't have one yet. Moss agate is so neat because it’s like a small terrarium but frozen in time. Especially when polished. I’ve never tumbled moss agate yet but I’m pretty experienced in tumbling and if moss agate is 6.5 to 7 then I shouldn’t have trouble tumbling, I usually have had problems tumbling talc and calcite and gypsum, it’s just really soft stuff, but I figured out I could just polish the soft stones, good thing I have a bunch of neat pieces of calcite and very soft rocks I’m excited to sand into cabochons by hand, gotta find some way to pass time during quarantine, right?
hi ive seen alot of your videos im not always logged in so it doesnt show but i absolutely love the work you do im on my way to get my moss agate asap i have some amazonite have you done a video on that one yet? i see you have some malachite but i dont think i saw amazonite ive got some pieces that have selenite in them another has some quartz
I have one of those slices of dendritic agate, a pretty large one that I stand up on a stand so the light can shine through, it is mostly transparent and you can see the different inclusions, it is beautiful! But I have not done any work with directly so I'm not sure what is doing for me. I will try to use it to commune with the fairies.
