Caesar wanted to end the war as quickly as possible, bjt didn't wish to storm the city because of high casualties that that would imply. So this was the fastest but safest way to do it. When gallic reinforcements came he wasn't going to give up on his plan so he built another wall around his first one.

This is the type of server that is extremely cool but you know its useless to join because everyone is so developed and everything is so complex, meaning that the new users will have a hard time starting.

I remember experiencing inflation in my old world server a few years back. I just kept pumping the playerbase with our currency because I wanted to see people expand the cities faster. We kept having to create and use larger and larger denominations of the currency to keep up with the expenses of the ever-growing builds. After about 4 months of frequent play, the economy crashed and the money became worthless.
What’s lovely is I owned a small farm in the Mesa so both sides were really friendly with me. I made them a cake after they finished battling. I still own the farm if you want to visit =)
He kinda downplays how cool this server actually is. I joined a few months back and now I own my own province, soon to coown another one, and my nation is having a civil war because our capital fell and our sultan retired so we had to elect a new one and people weren't happy about it, the politics there are very similar to medieval politics

This is actually amazing! I never thought Minecraft players could get together and do something as monumental as this! They built towns, religions, cultures. It's amazing that you managed to make something that brings Minecraft players together like this. And the people are so friendly, too. Keechoo gave me a tour of Palovina! I was so surprised, like "wasn't this the guy from the video?!" And the concept of the people having different religions and cultures. I'm sure people have tried it, but the way you managed to do it, it's just very well done. I'm currently looking into Anglism. It was recommended to me by a friend. Again, just... amazing.

When the great barrier first went up, the town of Leythe, in Sparwood, was looking for funds to pay upkeep. Georgeopolis and I saw the wall, said who tf built this ugly thing, and proceeded to mine gold nearby (it was on the uldarashi side I believe). Dairbeag soon found Georgeopolis and wasn’t happy, so George negotiated to have a few hours and then he would leave. George proceeded to mine out an ENTIRE CHUNK of the Mesa biome that he had claimed because “I paid for the whole chunk claim, I’m gonna use the whole chunk claim”. All the while, Dairbeag returns several times and says “oh your still here” expecting George to leave early. And that my friends, is how Leythe was just slightly involved in the Great Golden War.
This is the most interesting and most amazong servers I see right now. It's just perfect and great and I love it. Can't wait untill I become part of it.

A Doucratie, two Monarchs that balance each other, they can share opinions and cast a vote, if something should happen to one, the other can take over for the time being until a new monarch rises through Merit. If both sides disagree with each other, a council of 3, 5 or 7 members would cast a vote and decide which monarchs will shall come through
