I personally find Uldarash's cultural achievement and longevity to be more impressive than Ashai's extended territory. By the time Ashai came to haven, many of its cultural leaders had grown tired and inactive in their age. And those who were not demoralized by that were instead demoralized by the coming End Times. It's very easy to say "Ashai was Uldarash + even more", and in some very important ways that was true, but I personally feel Uldarash had a better narrative.
Ya I personally only think Ashai was able to succeed so much due to the declining state of the server where little war was happening anyways and activity was plummeting leaving very little resistance.
@@Stoneworksbahh Ashai wasn’t Uldarash, they were Far Eastern Imperialist pig dogs who sought to oppress the strength of the free minded Havenites and West

This reminds me of why the Roman Empire lasted so long meanwhile the Macedonian Empire fell after Alexander's death. The Crownlands grew slow and steadily which allowed them to last a very long time, meanwhile Empires like the Uraki were more quick and brutal which is why it fell apart after Neo retired.

My friend told me about this server today and told me about how the AWE which was in fell.. had no idea he was up against one of the most powerful empires
Interesting thing about Neo Aurelian, he's not simply roleplaying, he's actually ruling as a head of state. Now mind you, what I mean is that the Imperator is different than any other head of state. While everyone else pursuing the mythos with Gods, demons, and all that with the wish that they'll be feared due to said actions, Imperator Aurelian achieved that by being an actual leader who cared about his people. So all the wars, their political maneuvers, it was all based by pure logical needs of the state. Now, I liked seeing people roleplay, but damn Neo Aurelian was something else. It was only at the end where he decided to go roleplay a bit more by attempting to invade two large nations(I forgot the names) due to some "visions", which said threats of war proceeded to trigger the response from the Entente and have almost all nations to prepare for war, and have said nations immediately surrendered out of pure FEAR! And the only thing that stopped him? Retirement. Dude's so badass, nations were anxious with just a single threat he uttered. Dude's so badass, the nations he threatened immediately surrendered without having any of the Urakan army ever stepping on their soil. Dude's so badass, that the only thing stopping him was old age and retirement. Neo Aurelian is one of the MOST awesome head of state in Minecraft history, and you can't change my mind. Fight me for it.

It was hard for me to process all that was going on with the Urakan Empire and the CATO alliance. I especially appreciated learning about the origin of Uraka. I never was able to learn it, I always had seen them as a foreign aggressive Empire that was bullying us into submission. Your explanation of Cato was the most comprehensive that I have seen so far, even when I was in the middle of it no one could describe what it was. I admit it was a lot for me and I wasn’t able to process everything. Now I feel I can come back and try to catch back up to what the heck is going on now. Thanks for sharing such a great immersive experience for us all. Thanks for all rhetorical work you do.
Can we just appreciate how Sylvania was in almost all those major alliances and never fell? And I looked up and they had a lot of defensive wars that they won goddamn
Hey Stoney. It's been a bit since I was on the server, but I do have a minor correction for the video. I was one of the leaders of the Aristii rebellion against Ashai, and, during the honroable mention section, you showed Azreilz as being on Otto's side. He wasn't. He was actually one of our major opponents and led the domestic resistance against the Imperials such as myself. His actual lieutenants would have been better shown as WizeNifty, SiameseHessal, Mayynophobia, or myself.
Stuff may have been complicated near the end of it, but I'll always look back on Ashai's early days and big moments fondly. The geopol that led up to it was mentioned in the video but I cant overstate it that we will never see a nation like Ashai ever again or at least not for years. Katsura (northwestern eldham) was always cooperative towards its collective goal of a peaceful region. Beginning with the Northern Lights alliance and then the Constellation of the North, Katsura was the most chill region in sw history and that let the nations there grow amazing cities and massive populations. What isn't recognized as much is the early encounters and cooperation the Katsura had with Haven (southwest rathnir). From early eldham, there were havenite colonies with the strips of land east of Qadakh and Mycorji being owned by Boulderov, the island further east being New Sanctuary, Serradeneu having ties to Montroig, and there was even a time where Hearthstone almost integrated Hussarria into themselves. There was also land owned by Aragotha in both Katsura and Haven which integrated into Raiyuna for a while. Haven ofc had every empire of Uldarash and continental federation that came after it. Even though more recent Haven was very divided, the history and foundation was still there. Another massive part of why Ashai succeeded was bcs of the Emperor elfuego/hsfl who had former government roots in Uldarash and Aurora and for most of Ashai's life was Tszano (King) of Raiyuna one of the founding states of Ashai and was a leader of the merc group Aragotha. His ties in both Haven and Katsura made the extent of Ashai's growth possible. Ashai's foundations were being made irl years before it was created and it was because of the collective effort of hundreds and hundreds of people and a ton of luck. Stoneworks has a ton of cool empires but whenever I hear people say Ashai as a goal or see them take inspiration from how it ran I find it funny. We will never have another Ashai and people will be lucky if they can create even a shred of the perfect history and conditions that let Ashai become what it did.
