I have two S2 models - Custom 24 solid body and Custom 22 semi hollow. Amazing guitars. Superb fit and finish. You can tell a lot of care and craftsmanship goes into a PRS guitar.
@@SFBGuitar Pixxy I knew about that, I have never done a live superchat and I thought that income stream was not raped by Google. Hey if it was say 10% I wouldn't be screaming, but 30% is wrong. I say that because here is an income stream coming directly from fans and not advertisers like ad rev.
@@Terry3Gs Yep, and companies like Google pay minimum tax. Look what's been going on in Australia on that front over many years. The Government here is now applying a lot of pressure for Google to pay a fair amount of tax. But I bet it's nowhere near 30% or up.
I almost bought a C24 with a 10 top and birds back in 1988... bought a nice amp instead, I finally got my first PRS earlier this year. Indeed I thought my fretboard was ebony at first as well. I have a core but same pickups and case with the Piezo option (no 10 top but mine still looks good). Those 85/15s are very versatile. I know you will love it! I usually play RGs/JEMs so I didn't know how I would adjust to the 10" radius but I haven't had any issue going back in fourth. Congratulations!
Hey congrats Steve on your 1st PRS. I don't know if you knew this but the tone pot is also a push pull coil tap or a coil splitter. Enjoy your PRS. I have a 2018 CE24 and I love mine. It's my main axe.
Congrats brother, happy for you. Since I saw your Van Halen video I realised how real you actually were. I cried just as hard as you for a week and his passing still hits me every morning.
I hope you have this on your next live stream, I actually like the headstock not matching the body. And Steve...... treat yourself, don't cheat yourself.
I'm fortunate to own an identical ce24 to the one u got Steve, great quality made instrument, however I also have a 06" core ce24 as well that has American made pickups, the older one certainly has a nicer smoother tone than the newer one. Just my 2cents. But welcome to the prs family!
Pretty guitar and great tones too. I have the most plain model PRS in the S2 singlecut in satin charcoal but the neck is great and quality of the guitar is great. Maybe I'll get a CE or custom someday.
@@SFBGuitar PRS = Best Guitar I ever bought. I bought a American made Custom 24 in Dark Purple burst with natural back. I ordered it with a Quilt Top rather than a Flame top and Asked if they could make a Dark Purple burst to allow the figuring to show thru but closely resemble the shade of purple as Dodge/Plymouth Plum Crazy Purple to match my dads 1970 Dodge Challenger RT 440 Six Pack. I hope you continue to enjoy your PRS.
PRS are some of the best built guitars you can buy today with extraordinary playability. The SE's are almost as good as the US made versions as well, very high quality. Not a big fan of the headstock, but they have really great necks, generally excellent pickups and just the overall build quality is fantastic compared to many other companies. In a lot of cases, a notch above dollar for dollar.
Congrats!!! BTW, I have always admired your phrasing and licks in your videos and live streams. You really have a fantastic approach to your playing, would love to know where you learned that.
I’ve had 4 prs guitars. 2 se custom 24s. A custom 22 10 top and a custom 24 Floyd. I just couldn’t connect with them....I ended up going back to les Paul’s ending up with a heritage that just cannot be beat !
Woohoo! Congrats on the new axe, Steve! I picked up a similarly beautiful CE24 earlier this year and it has been a dream come true since the day it arrived. I was also incredibly picky about the top on mine and I couldn’t be more pleased with the look, feel, and sound (like you said, you have those three things, you’ve got it right)
Great decision - the CE is my main axe of choice - just a superbly versatile guitar with that little extra snap - not all the tops are great - but you definitely snagged one of the best ones!
Yeah! It's about time! That's just like mine except I have a blue metallic sparkle. I found it on eBay and I've never seen another like it. I love PRS - there will always be one in my arsenal.
Nice guitar..i have a Ibanez SDGR bass with a similar top and colour..i call it ''Crushed Red Velvet''.. i recently played with a guitar player who had a PRS and was switching between that and a Ibanez..after 40 odd years seeing guitar playes with Strats and Gibsons etc the PRS looked ''Small'' nothing small about the sound tho' of course
Steve from boston? I thought it was PixxyLixx ! Love your content brother, haven't tuned-in in a while, glad to see ya doing good. Basement looking great.
Now we're talking!
The bolt on maple is killer. Glad you got the CE!
Thanks, brother!! There's room for expansion in the collection. And so it begins....
@@SFBGuitar yea, dude... I started with a $1200 S2, then went to CE. Now I'm lusting after a custom 24-08 in charcoal purple
Congrats. I love my PRS.
No footage of you and steve talking? =..[

I never knew Google took 1/3 of the superchat income. Thats a tad rude in my books.
I probably shouldn't bring up the 45% they take of ad revenue... lol

Thats not all. After that, the goverment takes their share too
AND on top of that dont forget you have to pay tax's on that as well !!

I have a ‘95 ce22...from their Annapolis shop...hands down THE BEST playing guitar I own...I love it to death!!!!!!
Sweet guitar!
Congrats on your new axe buddy! Sounds killer!
PRS is a product line that I can appreciate when other people are playing it but have never been tempted subjectively to own myself.
Congrats, I have a 2007 Ten top single cut trem. Its amazing! Yes the case is like a Boston anchor!

Now, you are in it. The more you play your PRS, the more your other instruments will feel "Less Than". It's a curse and a blessing.
Oh jeez...NOW you tell me!! 😂
True. Can't stop playing mine.
That ain't true.
It is so definitely true...a PRS will spoil you for all other guitars!!!!
Bought my first prs almost a year ago but my epiphone Wilshire will always have my heart
Beautiful guitar. I hope you enjoy it.
Great choice. I think that is the perfect guitar for your style. The necks are incredible.
That is a great looking and great sounding guitar. Good for you
Welcome to the club. I've been playing PRS since 1988 or so. Great gigging guitars :)
