This is pure gold, sir! I've learned that putting is extraordinarily mental. Once you know your fundamentals are good, it's very mental. This is all good advice and I love the hit of the nasal inhaler. Smells trigger the brain, helps with memory. This is a study hack as well. I'm going to try this!
Hi John, great advise , Dave Pelz once told Phil Mickelson he's couldn't make 100 3' feet putts in a row and he was right phil had to practice the skill for a few weeks to get the magic number,
I try to have the feeling of looking through the ball to the green grass below and seeing that after the ball leaves before I look up and trace the putt. Actually have a couple of drills for this. I'm working on video of those.
Very sound advice John, but after missing a short putt and trying not to be annoyed with yourself, one of your numpty playing partners say " you should have made that " Dont you just love smart asses. Great film as ever.
The mental side of putting and what we convince ourselves about our ability is a huge factor. More so than most of us realize.
Excellent tips. Good teacher . Thank you .

I only watch putting vids YOU make. I am still improving thanks to the tips you show us! Thanks
Thank you. I’m glad to help. But wow … now I’ve got pressure. LOL

John, love your videos! On a pud 3 feet or longer, are your eyes focused on the ball to prevent head movement?
