    I think it would also be neat if warlock punch was replaced with those light projectiles he shoots in Ocarina of Time

    I haven't watched the video or the shorts... I'm so sorry I can't support you if the video is underperforming but I've been avoiding ToTK spoilers for a long time now and don't think I'll get around playing it anytime soon, I'm immensely interested in watching your Dorf video but I probably won't come back to it for about a year

    I just straight up don't like this one. For up special I gave him a no free fall teleport that let's him cancel into any input he wants, like if it's airborne he can cancel it into a special or aerial, or if it'a grounded aerial is substituted for any grounded attack. Perfect for stuff like "Don't try to spike me I'll combo you out of a teleport, and I can still jump airdodge back onto stage." I call it a cancel but it's more like after the teleport is done he'll already be doing the animation, so it's more like using a move out of teleport skips some start up frames in order to increase the likelyhood of the attacks connecting.
    The downspecial I put was the demon kings bow, charging up grants him super armor throughout, and after charge he can choose to fire. There's 3 shots per charge and any he doesn't fire gets stored and can be used immediately, the projectiles are rather large due to being wreathed in gloom magic and they do 10% a hit.

      It's not like it skips all startup frames dummy, this isn't the turbo mode mod.

      @@seansean792 I also want ganon to have a new move set. i don’t even like current ganon. But yeah i guess i should probably ask about more specifics. When does the armour on the down special charge come out and is it cancellable? How fast are the shots and how quickly do they come out post charge, and how long does the charge take? As for the teleport, how quickly does it come out, how far and how quickly does it teleport, and how much lag is there post teleport when you “cancel” it into a different move?

      @himmafridge7144 eh didn't think that far, but the other two teleports in the game have the same frame data, Zelda's is the third weird one.
      Thing about down special is that, the charge up can't be canceled, so it's not truly that helpful. I can't give you frame data because that's not something I often care about, but the charge up does take awhile. Enough time to get grabbed or smacked, but I'm sure someone would land some kind of clip because of it. It's like how kyudo bow archers usually prep their aim, starting with the bow up top and gradually pulling it down while aiming, almost like how totk Ganondorf did in his own fight.
      If it's used as anti-zoning though, then they don't really have a choice but to try to approach if they don't want you to get the charge off, and for some zoners, that'll result in an arrow in the face. Or they can wait until the charge is done. I don't actually understand how projectiles normally interact but that'll decide the engage from that point on.
      You mainly asked about teleport but there's not much to tell, cause frankly if I get my way I'd work out frame data alongside Sakurai himself, but eh. I just feel like I'd have to have physical experience making a fighter in order to go to the point of frame data, all I've got is a general idea of how a character should fight in my head.
      Like, MockRock is the type to look at Tulin and say "This character can fly, this character has a bow, that's not gonna be fun" and my response is to make him a combo character that starts on the ground or not far off the ground and work into air combos, eventually using arrows as a kill projectile when the opponent has already been combo stringed and carried away from the stage and is out of combo range, with the other hand being that he's super light and dies easily when someone agreesive gets too close.

      @@seansean792 Oh that’s fair. I was more worried about the down special charge being used as something akin to Ken and Ryu focus.

      kinda similar to it but also functions like Shulk's side B (reward for hitting an opponent in the back)
