Drying towels in the tumble drier is good for keeping them soft, however you only need to tumble them for 10-15 minutes to get them fluffed up. After a brief tumble I finish off drying on the line or on a heated airer and I agree that a heated airer and a dehumidifier is a great combo.

Hi..I am watching your video for the very first time and appreciate your advice. I cannot follow all of it because I live in a basement apartment and have a small fridge/freezer like what might be used in a college dorm! It is a mindset and this looks different for each of us thank you!

Instead of buying beans from Costco, you should buy beans, lentils, rice, and spices from any Indian shop. We are lucky in U.K. that we have the shops in every town.

Different credit score agencies use different scoring systems. I'm 999 but be wary that some places will reject you as they know they are unlikely to make much money from you with things such as interest on credit cards.

Ive been buying frozen fruit (not a fan of the strawberries, they always taste watery) & veg for years now,
We only have a subscription to Disney+, everything else gone!
Not keeping up with clothing fashions. It’s amazing how much you can save!
Mobile phones, we’re all on sim only & pay £35 per month for all 4 of us.
Haircuts, I do my own & I cut everyone else’s.
Bulk buying is great if you’ve got the storage space, which sadly we don’t.
Supermarket own brands can taste as good as branded food items.

I cut down on the amount of makeup and skincare I was buying. I have decided on a project pan, where I have started to just use what I have and only buy new ones when I have run out of a category, rather than having like 5 foundations open at the same time I have one at a time. I can't stop buying books though, simply because I am very particular about books and Amazon prime have never once had a book I was interested in, I also read a lot of Japanese books which I have to buy from japanese ebook sites, and also medical related books which are almost always hard to find/never in the library/expensive

What you save depends on what you earn - not just saving on where you spend.

Great video Lara, I need to work on how much I spend on coffee out etc. I've decided that cutting out the cake that often goes with it would be a good start lol 😅😅. I've already cut alcohol down a lot. Very inspiring to think I could possibly save 25k ( or whatever amount I decide is best for me) P.s your hair is looking amazing! Xx

Can you recommend a quality clothing brand please? Where do you buy from? I invested in a few jumpers from expensive brands at John Lewis, and within a year they all had holes in

@@clairekelly5498libby also allows access to kanopy for movies and tv!
also amazon costs most people more money in the long run because even if you’re saving money on a service, you’re still spending on convenience and impulse purchasing.

I immediately thought that. However I'm guessing this is her personal goal. I'm on a good salary however I save probably 8k and I feel I am winning. I've been following frugal Queen in France for years and learned so much from her. Give her channel a try, she's real, she honest and absolutely no influencing us to buy anything all about real life and great advice 👍
