- Halo 3 Beta full gameplay footage of me (Necro2607) playing a Team Slayer game alongside some friends on "High Ground" multiplayer map.
Shows some footage of new features including new HUD, the M274 Mongoose ATV, Spiker gun, Spike Grenade, and the new MA5C Assault Rifle.
Sorry the quality is so bad, it's due to the long movie length and UA-cam's compression.

Awh man. I miss the old Days.. I remember Waking up early on Saturdays and play infection all day. God.. Sometimes I wish i could go back. I hardly play Xbox anymore Let alone Halo.. I might Never Get into Halo again but Halo 3 will ALWAYS be my favorite game. Its Sad to see what Halo has come to ,but Never Forget 9-25-07

Boy do I miss these days. Staying up all night with friends from Gamestop. We ran a stellar store and had a hell of a run. Buying Crackdown for the beta and finding out Crackdown was an awesome game. I miss all of those guys from Gamestop. We were the best of friends. I was selfish and always wanted more and more out of life. I hope you are all doing well.

Its been a while since I watched this :P.... Used to watch this when I was excited about getting my xbox for xmas because Halo 3 was coming with it :P

Ahh, the lightning was so much better in the Beta, darn it!! Why did they remove the amazing gloom and the nice dynamical lightning system that they had in the beta?
I was only 9 when this was uploaded. I still remember playing an xbox original then switching to the 360. It was a magical feeling. The dashboard, the improvement in graphics, and Halo 3. I remember just downloading all of the trailers and ViDocs whenever they released and kept rewatching them because of how impatient I was for Halo 3. Good times.
The jump to Xbox One and Series X, as well as the playstation consoles, they don't feel as big as the jump from xbox og to 360.

I remember playing this as my first Beta Test ever and brings back fond memories, especially one match in the beta I played where I got like 20 kills and I didn't die once that match..... good times.

the good old days...
the only thing i dont like about halo is that the crosshair is no long in the middle of the screen, its been lowered quite a bit. it feels so awkward compared to other shooters, i dont see why that was necessary. dont get me wrong halo rocks, but thats the only bitch i have about it
gawd i miss the halo 3 beta, BEST halo ever. i just remember how awesome it was...then the final version came out an it was ruined. the small add ons in the final version that weren't in the beta ruiend it for me
@Nato1196 all the beta was meant for was simply to make sure things in the game were working properly, yes there were some changes, but not too many graphics wise
@Masterlink981 The armor looks dirty. Has dirt on it and scratches that can be visible clearly instead of zooming in to see them in the final version
yeh believe me they will only make the colour more solid like the red looks kinda pinkish but the rest will pretty much be the same as the beta
The armor looked like it was in the real war as if it is dirty witch makes it more realistic...now in the Halo 3 full version...looks stupid to me
hahaahaah around 5:30 it looks like master chief is doing flips and shooting like in the matrix because you cant see the mongoose
i played the beta only one time of my life then the full game came out and it was the same lol i thought it would be different

the original assault rifle was better this one has 32 bullets on halo combat evolve hate 60 bullets

i didnt even know they had a halo 3 beta. ima check if they have a halo 2 beta :P
i like the beta armor better because its not so serious and ints a fairer color
i think halo 2 seemed more realistic in the story because its like post apocolyptic right?
