this channel is so underrated
Yes but the algoritm will find it soon and it will explode. Easily the best aquarium channel on youtube.
He has everything, and hes getting shit done!
And the knowledge he has.
Love this channel!
agreed and he keeps everything so healthy and values that over getting clicks.
Word
@@broman6662 absolutely crazy how much stuff he gets done
I totally agree. He really needs to start using hashtags within his video description to help people find his content.
Things are looking amazing! All the work is really paying off. Thanks!!!!
Thanks Todd! Big updates coming in tomorrow's video! 😊😊
You should clip and make a youtube short of the sharks breeding with "baby shark" playing in the background. 😅 (I know... that's terrible.😂😂😂)
Bad jokes aside, always great to see the progress. That 4500 looks better every time you show it. 👍
Hey Austin! Maybe not a bad idea lol 😊😊
My fav fish channel. So talented and has the most beautiful fish room(s) on UA-cam imo. Thanks for sharing with us truly amazing what your doing
Wow, thank you! 😊
What happened to the albino arrow?
He/She was killed by one of the other grow outs...thinking it might have been the Bass...they were starting to get aggressive to everyone in there.
Catching your bamboo sharks breeding in captivity shows you are doing it just right. Enough so that they feel they can reproduce and add to the population of the space. Impressive, all of your work. 👏😊
I have never been a fan of keeping monster fish but I enjoy watching you take care of yours. Impressive!
Thanks! In my opinion monster fish are great if you give them monster tanks, I am not a fan of seeing people put them in very inadequate tanks.
2 Black Diamond Stingray 15 Geophagus Argyrostictus just a quick guess..
Hmmm 😊
Why you have divider in 4500? Keep big bass away from little guys?
Yes. It will be removed once all of the new fish are big enough.
wow that bamboo shark really has grown. there has to be a market for captive breed shark eggs.
I'm looking into it. There is one pet store about an hour from me that always has marine predators for sale, maybe they would give me some store credit for some shark eggs 😊😊
Your new grow out would definitely be a group of 2 stingrays but the group of 15🤔 a wild guess > Piranhas
Stingrays are coming...but not yet 😊
weres the albino arrowana
Was going to ask the same
The Albino Arowana was killed by one of the other grow outs about a week before I moved them over to the 4500, thinking it was probably one of the Peacock Bass...they were starting to get aggressive in the smaller tank.
Love the videos. With the new marine estuary aquarium. What happens if you need to replace a fitting a on the pipe you are building it around?
That pipe is just a sub surface passive vent, basically to keep gases like radon from building up underneath the slab.
Its cool to see those flagtails chilling with each other
Definitely! 😊
The real king of diy respect 🫡 to you my brother idk how u do it
😊
Any plans on keeping a Monster Pacu??
No, closest for me will be my wide bar MYLEUS SCHOMBURGKI 😊
One thing is for certain....you are Never Moving from that home!!! Lol Great work as always, I see your closing in on that big trophy!!! 100,000 subscribers. AWESOME!!!
Thanks Joe! I have way to much energy into renovating this entire house...and of course the fish basement..hell no I am not moving lol. I was tracking pretty good on the channel numbers until summer hit...definitely slowed down a bit as of late...but I should get there sometime this year hopefully 😊
@@AquariumDomain. I think if you go back to last year at this same time and look at your numbers, you will be pleasantly surprised, you have exploded within the last 12 months. I want to say we were neck and neck, and then you built the 28 footer. I need to build something BIG!!! LOL
@@TheirWorldAquatics You are right, if I change the analytics to the last 365 days it account for like 85% of subscribers and half of views. I could definitely tell that the 4500 build was a huge driver of engagement to the channel...even more so than the 3000 was at the beginning of the channel. I guess next year I am going to have to build a 9000 / 72 footer aquarium lol 😊😊
@@AquariumDomain. GAME ON!!! LOL
Great video as always! That arrowana looks stunning in the 4500 especially with those red tip fins. Maybe you can get 2 super red Texas cichlids and 15 clown 🤡 loaches!
Watching the Aro and the other new fish cruising the 4500 now that they are settled in is been pretty awesome. I will get some footage for the next vide. 😊
You have to claim the title as Emporor of Diy
Galactic Emperor of Aquarium DIY!! 😊😊
15 Clown loaches & 2 Sting Rays
if it isn't then it should be ;)
Angles fish and 2 peacock bass
😊
❤we wants more vids !!! Plz 😊😊😅
❤️ Thanks! Planning to have a new video out on Monday! 😊
What happened to the albino arowana ?
He/She got killed by on of the other grow outs :-( They were all good when the lights went off, next day at lunch time came down to feed them and the Albino Aro was dead with ripped up fins. :-(
Hey man, I just bought a small fish store in KY. I'll buy one of your sharks and put in my big pond. I just built at the store, grow him, and live here have apart of your channel in my store
Gratz on opening your own store...very cool! I like your idea...email me at the address listed on my UA-cam channel and we can figure out the details.
@AquariumDomain. Just emailed you. I appreciate that it means alot
Not that you will, but if you ever needed access to that house plumbing, that would be a MAJOR pain...!
The pvc pipe that I boxed around is just a sub slab vent pipe to prevent gases building up the fan that pulls the air through is located outside...so no reason to have to interact with the pipe.
@@AquariumDomain. perfect...!
Mangrove estuary will be epic!!
I can't wait for this one myself! 😊😊
I thought you have 2 silver arowanas, sir?
I had 2 growing out, the Silver and an Albino, but one of the other grow outs killed the albino. :-(
@@AquariumDomain. Sorry to hear that
Your videos are amazing! I’d definitely take some shark eggs. Been looking for some fish to up my bio load in my frag tank system.
Thanks! I need to make some calls, but who knows I may end up mailing them out 😊
Well done sir, another great video , hats off too you for all the hard work involved , defo one of my favourite UA-cam’s too watch & best build for sure . All the best, see you on the next one fella 🫡🙏🏼👍🏻
Thank you! 😊
Looking great! Thanks for the update 😊
Thanks Jeff!
I think I may have a solution to your glare problem. Have you thought about (and I would obviously test it first) to hang a metal string on the ceiling and a 10ft curtain? That way you can move it anywhere along the 40ft tank as you film, curtain is behind you and getting all that glare disappear and then you just shove it off to the side like a curtain and it does not get in the way?
Right.. A dog run cable is strong and cheap.
I was gonna say something.
Thx for being the guy..
Your post made me think of something, I have an old green screen that clipped on a 8' wide frame, I could replace the green screen and put a black sheet on their and position as needed...the frame is very light, easy to move around and collapses down for storage. Going to try and find it tomorrow and give it a try. 😊
2 pacu and 15 plecos
I don't think Pacu would ever be the right answer for my fishroom lol 😊😊 I still have scary flashbacks to when I was 13 years old and brought home a Pacu for my 55 gallon 😛
15 clown loaches and 2 arrowana.
A lot of people think clown loaches 😊
@@AquariumDomain. Clown loaches are my favorite. I have a group of 17 (give or take a couple). Had them for about 6 years. They are sloooooooow growers. Might be the reason you won't go with loaches. If not loaches it must be a type of barb, silver dollar or cichlid. Hopefully we find out soon. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!!!
You might need to add a divider in the predator bay 3000 for when the female shark needs a rest from the male
Right 😊
2 xingu river rays, 15 xingu corydora
Great video love them but where is the albino arrow
Unfortunately one of the other grow outs killed him/her :-(
Mangroves are the GOAT
Hope you find some oysters or something to get on the oysters, they'll make their own "islands" in the wild like that.
I am more excited to get the mangroves going than I am new fish 😊
I lost it when you stumbled over the first “ejac…ejaculation”
Lol 😊
Absolutely amazing. You are absolutely incredible at what you do. Love watching your videos
Thank you so much 😀
2 firewood catfish and 15 clown loaches
Group of 15 im guessing tropheus cichlids
couple redtail cats or stingrays and a school of clown loaches
I’d take a shark egg if you run out of space. If you ship to Georgia lol😂
You never know 😊
As a wild guess the new larger school will be one of the silver dollar or uaru varieties and the pair will be grow-out sized cats like giraffe or ripsaw cats to patrol the bottom feeding/ cleanup role.
I hope you accounted for the unused (open) divider slot being wide enough to jump through.
Baby shark du du du dut du...😊
Would love to see a tanganyikan community tank , one of the most interesting freshwater stock you could go with in my opinion, schools of cypochromis, shell dwellers, rock dwellers, frontosas,
personally if i had an opportunity to do a big tang tank id do fronts with giant cypochromis with a big hardscape for all the small cichlids to hide in 😌
Hmmm one of the new 1200 gallons is not spoken for yet in terms of the stock to go in it....😊😊
@@AquariumDomain. oh boy dont get my hopes up 😂
oh man i think you should put an armatus i.e. the vampire fish in it , it would be the coolest thing ever
😊
Love seeing your building of aquariums and step by step. I'm feeling you're moving something like 15 Angel fish. I watch so many channels, that it's hard to remember what all everyone has. Love seeing the Piranha tank every time!!
Your sharks are good looking. Id be interested in an egg for sure. Ive got an 800 gallon setup
Cool, I will make note of it, still deciding what path to take 😊
I think I can offer $100 for an egg. I like the fact that I can see the parents
@@808Tornado What is your location? I just want them to have a good home, I would send it for just the cost of shipping.
@@AquariumDomain. That's nice of you. I'm in Las Vegas NV 89129
Right now I have a California sting ray and a coral cat shark like yours. Also a snowflake eel. 800 G system so I can handle a bamboo shark or 2. But that would be it. Not big enough for anything else. My setup is specifically for sharks.. very fine sand and minimal rock work. System has an AC to keep the water at 76F
AD after dark. AD goes "R" rated in the basement.
Lol...just documenting what happens 😊 😊
I bet you will get some people interested in the shark eggs or babies once they hatch. Maybe get some pocket money to pay for building materials or fish food!
Bringing a little money to offset the costs of the fish basement would definitely be a good thing! 😊😊
Wow, you are going to be buried in shark eggs pretty soon. It will be so cool to watch them hatch and grow. My GUESS is two stingrays, and group of some type of large African cichlids, (frontosa maybe?). But my HOPE is two large pike cichlids to replace your old Lent and Zebrina, and a group of redtail barracuda for the 4500 cuz that would be awesome. Although knowing you, it will be awesome no matter what it turns out to be.
Something interesting has transpired which I will show in the next video. I have been trying to replace those 2 pikes for a while, but nobody has them in stock...but I will have them again 100% 😊
Pair of freshwater rays and 15 red xingu pike cichlids...
Keni! Rays are coming, but not quite yet. If I had that many full grown pike I would probably have to rename the tank to the 4500 gallon pike mania river aquarium 😊😊
Dude, how are you going to put the glass in the pret bay estuary? Are you planning to reach the bottom hanging over the top? Seams to narrow to clime into and silicone from the inside.
I just need to lose 10 lbs before its time to do the silicone work 😛 seriously though it is a bit tight, but its doable.
Pair of jack dempsey and a school of 6 banded leporinus. So many things it could be.
😊
You won't have a problem getting rid of the eggs. Your local pet store will probably buy them all.
That would be great, there is a really big fish store about an hour from me...going to check with them as they seem like the most likely taker. 😊
Awesome, love seeing those Xingu river additions, especially the Arowana. Had a couple of them years back and had similar results as your previous ones, despite that I still absolutely love them. I'm guessing 2 catfish, like a flagtail, and 15 Frontosas. Have no clue but guessing Frontosas because they are my favorite and a colony of those would look so sweet in one of the 1,500 gallons.
Don't get me started on Arowana, that said I am ecstatic to finally have one in the 4500! 😊
Just start breeding the bamboo sharks and use the money to fund the aquariums!
The breeding is taking place all on its own...I need to call some local pet stores and see if they have interest in shark eggs 😊
Shark eggs take a while to hatch and are pretty tough so I would think they would be strait forward to ship. I would guess, after keeping some for yourself, you could probably start up a side hustle of shipping the eggs and not even have to fool with hatching or growing them out.
Yeah I have been marking down the dates of when I find them, first batch should be late sept. and the second batch in nov.
EPIC tanks BEST on YOU TUBE
Thanks! 🙏
stingray pair?
silver dollars and more cats! cool as always!
Thanks! 😊
i am sure the order of 2 are golden arowanas. i dont know about the group of 15 though, surely not more silver dollars?
👀 I 😊
Do you have a plan for housing even half the sharks if they hatch? Everytime I think you've maxed out, you prove me wrong. Lol I love it
Well once I finish digging out lower level 2 and 3 of the fish basement that should open up about....kidding 😝 I could definitely support an additional 2 or 3 banded catsharks in the new predator bay, but I would prefer to have 3 in total...not 5 or 6.
Enjoy watching you take care of these monsters. You have an incredible talent. Guessing Silver dollars and pair of Oscars.
Thanks! 😊
Bro beter put somting havy on your lids arowana wil jump and the got power even when small love your tanks and videos respeckt bro
Thanks! I have some bars to go across the front of the lids, but I am kinda waiting till the aro gets bigger before I put them on. 😊
Great work as always. Realy Impressive. AWESOME !
Thank you so much 😀
Really loving the way the tanks are coming together, as for new fish, I would say a pair of Rays for 1 tank, and maybe a school of clown loaches for the other
A lot of people think clown loaches 😊
Alot of saltwater aquarium pet shops do sell sharks as eggs for the customer to hatch in their home aquariums
Despite living in a very populated area, there aren't really any good local fish stores close to me. I am going to have to make some calls though...I am getting overrun with shark eggs and need to figure something out 😊
As always I love what you do so interesting to watch. Just amazing. I can't begin to guess what new monster fish your planning on.
I have some ideas! 😊😊
Great video as always 👍 gotta be 2 rays and 15 clown loaches
Thanks! 😊
There is never a dull moment in the AD fish basement. I love watching all the progress. I had never seen sharks breed before and that was definitely an experience lol. I have no guesses for the fish but I watched to the end as always. Looking forward to the next one. Peace!
Hey Phil! My problem right now is the day job keeps bleeding into my night job in the aquarium basement 😝
2 Stingrays & 15 clown loaches 🍻
Everyone is dialed in on clown loaches 😊😊
Looks great !! What kind of Arowana is that ?
Thanks! Just a Silver South American Arowana.
Your house is going to sink lol....great vid as always!
That is why I have to build the new tank over on the other side of the house...need it to sink evenly, not on a tilt 😊😊
You should have more subs..
Like half of the people who watch the videos are unsubscribed...guess they are sure if they like my content enough to subscribe yet or not lol 😊
Black diamond sting rays!!
Soon! 😊
giant danials fish for the group of 15
😊
What do you do for a living?
Most of my career I did ISR/ISTAR and SATCOM. I left that world a few years ago and now am a director for a software company.
❤❤❤❤❤
Aren't those eggs called purses?
I could see that..they look like old school coin purses 😊
Yes. Shark eggs are often referred to as mermaid purses.
First time seeing a shark skeet-skeet
😊
school tinfoil barbs and jack dempsey's
Great update.
Thanks! 😊
Thank you 👍
😊
Amazing!
Thanks!
Going to have to remove a shark for less breeding purposes
Thinking that myself, a bit concerned for the females well being...don't want her over worked. 😊
