I want to be a CS major, but my focus is cybersecurity, more specifically, red teaming. Are there resources at this school that would support my career goals? Do you know anyone who wants to go into that feild?

How does CS in Yale (or other Unis) compare to CS at an IB/AP level? I'm really enjoying CS in IB, but I'm debating taking it in college
Good question, I was wondering this too! Unfortunately I can’t enroll in an AP Computer Science A class since it isn’t available at my high school but I was considering self studying it.
Currently choosing between CS at Yale and a more tech-oriented school, so this video is so helpful!!

Are the engineering and STEM majors and programs growing at Yale?
Someone help me. I live in India (born in the US) and I am currently in 9th grade. My dream school is Yale, and I’m pretty sure I can score As all throughout till 12th. But the problem is that in India, studying is basically everything. People judge you based on your marks, and don’t give importance to anything else. There are not a lot of extracurricular stuff happening, like volunteering isn’t even a thing here. I’m wondering what I should do :( Would I get deferred even though there aren’t many extracurriculars happening?
So, i used to live in india but i moved back to the states but when i was there i did as much as i can individually such as passion projects in robotics. I would also recommend looking into evaluating your passions and finding friends who share interests to start a club in. Starting a club really shows that you have an interest in and colleges like that in an applicant. Also, nothing guarantees admission in these schools because it is very subjective but good luck.

Does a 5.0 GPA in my junior-senior years matter if my freshmen-sophomore GPA was 3.8 W and 3.54 UW? (Guess that means I can't go to Yale then! That sucks) :(
They only go off junior and senior year
It seems comp sci, engineering, and technology are the weak points of Yale, especially compared to other top schools. while it’s elite in pretty much every other area.
