the first gumball was 55 of coopers richest friends just going from london to remini. partying and having a blast everynight. i believe that this is what's /somewhat/ happening at the moment.

Lol my friend had a 600hp Volvo S60R and I believe it was last year, he outran a cop and a few of the cars officially in the Gumball race, I would like to join him in my R next year lol
ok its not the trooper who issues the amount , its the judge , the trooper just puts down what he observes (i.e driving recklessly fast on slick roads , swerving in and out of traffic , nearly caused an accident, reluctantly pulled over) and the judge reads that and determines the right amount for the ticket , so its not the trooper who determines the amount

Most of those gumball drivers have track time and are more likely NOT to panic in an emergency event. Yes they are speeding but most of them are in cars that can easily do it and are stable at those speeds. If you COULD do those speeds in say a corolla, it would be dangerous because the car was never intended on going that fast. bad driving is like merging without looking, running red lights, tail gating, speeding in the rain. Bad drivers are Idiots who dont know how to drive, not speeders.
Some people just can't drive. I got five days in jail, a female cop said you know your car can go airborne over 100 miles an hour. I told her obviously you know nothing about "downforce"... Me an another few guys all in the speeders area of the jail had a good time. I guy with a Porshe said i got stopped doing 120 and he told the cop, "i'm from florida, I thought that was a normal speed". heh
The troopers go easy on them because they know that it's a gumball rally and some of them think it's cool. The troopers don't do anything because they know these people don't give 2 shits about a $350 or a $10,000 ticket. They pay $400000 to be in the rally along with the price of a brand new car and all the money they put into detailing the car. I think money or getting their cars towed are the last things they care about.

@101heza Really? How many accidents, scuffs, curb scrapes and parking bumps have you been involved in since you started driving? I haven't been in a single incident since the day I started driving and I go well over 120mph quite often when conditions allow. It's common sense, some people just don't have it. So who is more dangerous behind the wheel? Thumbs up if you can handle a car properly.
