- Las Vegas to Beverly Hills in a BMW 645 Gumball Rally 2006, last stage before finish. Getting pulled over by police, going off roading, top speed runs, and getting lost in the desert. Thanks guys in the Lambos, we had fun!

TomTom handheld GPS screen was out back then. They cost like $80-120. I had one. They look like a small pad.

I really grew up in the wrong generation, I wish I was born just a few years earlier. I really missed out on some of the best times to be a car enthusiast.
When you get your license recreate this with your friends, you don’t need high end cars to make great memories
@@TheRealSockonbest part is, most of these older cars are farily affordable. Just everything JDM has gone up in the last decade. Old car like M series BMWs, older Mercades, gallardos... fairly reachable. Back then, we all would have thought these cars couldnt be beaten.

$43,000 to join???? When did this happen? Was only $10,000 USD per vehicle with 2 occupants when I checked into it in 07 and 08.... And one of those was a multinational (multiple countries and continents) trip if I am not mistaken. Although there was a disclaimer on the forms saying that the 10k provided passage into and out of nations, venues, hotels, and shipping & customs charges. Did not cover gas, food, or tickets. Still that wouldn't make it over $15,000

Unless you own a Lamborghini or a Koensigg - and then there's people like my mate and me, who is preparing to join with a Saab 9-5 Aero modified to grant +750 hp. And then it's a lot of money. But this trip was recorded in 2006, so do you think that the price since then is lowered or raised?

last year i think it cost 60 000 pounds or 90 000 Usd to be apart of the rally
