Hindi is widely understood, especially across regions like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Dubai, the Maldives, Mauritius, and Nepal, making it a valuable language to learn. I'm from the south of India and speak Kannada, my mother tongue (Tulu), as well as Hindi, Marathi, and some Gujarati. If you keep a positive mindset toward learning, you'll definitely succeed!

@@sumithshetty-d7n I'm learning Hindi but we can't say like it's compulsory. Because English is the language everyone knows widely

@@Cherogill_ Although widely spoken languages vary, in our region, Hindi is commonly spoken. Where you live, learning the commonly spoken language is a must.

In Goa too they should not ask to speak in Hindi. Originally Goans don't know Hindi, only Konkani, Marathi, English & older generations knew Portuguese. The guy who gave you this RB s*** was a Northie probably Delhiite doing business here. He has no right to tell you speak in Hindi. This is dadagiri.
