You have the 372 x torq if its newer than 10 years. And yes they do eat up bearings. The original 372 rarely had issues. If you're cutting medium hardwood 572 is fine. Thank you Steve! Humbly appreciated man
👍👍
Bad luck on the bar:( at least its just a tip replacement. hard to beat the Stihl bars
Iv got a spacer coming to run stihl bars now
Dame I want one hope they did something better on the crank bearings I've been through 2 372xp brand new ones in last yr n half cuz of bearing failure I sold the 2nd one before the bearings took a shit cuz they wouldn't warranty it because it was over a yr from the time I bought the first one ud think it would have started over when they gave me the 2nd but nope so I sold it went back to the old stihl 046 it's stock n eats that 372xp alive
I like the 572 but not a fan of it on the stump for the size timber I cut. It's a great skidder saw or firewood saw. If your going through bearing like that I'd make a change on what your feed the saw. Iv never lost crank bearings
You have the 372 x torq if its newer than 10 years. And yes they do eat up bearings. The original 372 rarely had issues. If you're cutting medium hardwood 572 is fine. Bigger stuff like what Steve cuts the old reliable Husky 390xp is a bulletproof saw. However I am saving up my money right now for a 592 XP.

You are bore cutting every tree so it aint like the bar tip isnt getting uneccesary wear
For what those bars and tips cost I should get double the life that I'm getting due to getting 3 times out of other brand bars
Sounds like husky is copying sthil

Tsumara bars. Oregon bars suck now, hardly ever get the paint off one before the tips blow out
