CASE UPDATE: Good news! Thanks to all of your calls, views, and action, we have finally heard from the Midland Police department. They have assigned a new detective on the case and will have it moved up on their priority list and start the investigation from scratch! Rachael and Emily are so grateful for all of your kind words. Please follow Rachael on Twitter @rachaelden for updates! Note from Caitlin’s sister: hi everyone! i’m rachael caitlins sister. i’ve seen some confusion about her height and i just wanted to clarify she’s 5’4 :) thank you all for the positive comments and for all of your help. emily and i can’t thank you enough!! i know we will bring her home. you all have filled my heart more than you will ever know. it’s been a blessing having kendall, her team and all of you behind us during this frustrating/ difficult time. i know some of you have questions about my parents. my mother is not in our lives and my dad is a private person. he is helping as much as he can, he just doesn’t want to be a public face which emily and i completely respect! thank you all again for the love and support. ❤
Thank you for sharing her story with us and allowing us to follow and help anyway we can with this journey. You owe none of us any explanation about family. Just know we hear you and we will fight for justice and answers for Caitlin with you.

I know you have had a bad time with tiktok but it may help. Especially with the gofundme. My bf lived in that area 2018-2019 and his brother still lives there so im sharing with them. 🖤
@@ohwellwhateverr that’s so horrible to say…just why!? That’s sad you think that way. This girl didn’t deserve to be missing & her little sister have to basically do everything on her own. I’m not going to stoop to your level I pray for you
When I first heard about this case I immediately thought about human trafficking without question. The lack of info everywhere screams human trafficking. I hope she’s okay.
Her background shouldn’t matter. She is a person, a human being, and should be given the same amount of effort in finding her as they would anyone else. Praying for y’all!
Whether she was a dancer or a lawyer, she was someone’s sister, someone’s daughter and most of all a 19 year old girl that is MISSING! Shame on anyone who thinks she is any less than they are and shame on the investigators who haven’t given it their all as if she was their daughter. I hope Caitlin gets the coverage she deserves and her sister gets the answers she so desperately needs ❤️
Agreed. And let’s not forget, she wouldn’t be able to be a dancer if there wasn’t an audience. The people judging her for her line of work are the same ones who visit strip clubs and/or have family members that do the same. Put the shame where it belongs.
Yes!! Like, imagine how many people don’t get justice just for their choices in life, this is unbelievable. I’m from Brazil and things are the same here, so sad for this situation.
I came to leave a comment, but you already said exactly what I was thinking. The specifics of her lifestyle don't take away from the fact that she was a beautiful young woman with her whole life ahead of her & family and friends who deserve to know the truth about what happened. My heart goes out to these people.
yes!! regardless of their occupation, how they look, what they do, all of them deserve to be treated like human beings and returned back to their families'
Edit: the only billboard that showed that Caitlin is missing has now been taken down. :( I live in Midland, Texas and I can tell you that Caitlin’s case DID NOT receive the amount of coverage that it should have. It honestly breaks my heart that people are shaming her for her past. Everyone has a past and that past should NEVER be used against anyone. I’m praying she is found soon. 💛
I’m an hour away from Midland, and I can agree that I’ve never seen any coverage of this case. Im going to send this video to News West 9 and CBS 7, and I hope everyone else does too!
Oh, exactly! I wish people were more empathetic. I think we can say that we've done some silly things during our younger years. Despite that, everyone deserves to be located safe and well.
Look at the difference between this case and one like Gabby Petito for example. It's gross how police put a value on peoples lives. Not a monetary value but a social status value.
I live in Midland Texas and have never heard of this case! Midland is not the biggest city so for a case like this to be swept under the rug is outrageous, I will share everywhere I can:(
I live in Odessa and was shocked when I head Midland Tx cause I have never heard her name either!!! Definitely sharing & hopefully her family can get some answers and closure😥
Sadly, this sounds like human trafficking and very similar to what happened to my friend's teenage daughter. 😢 My heart goes out to Caitlin & her sister/family.
It makes me cry and want to become vigilantie and save theese poor girls and boys .....from all age its heart breaking soul dystroying for families and the poor people trafficed...why is this happening ...and how come the forces havnt stopped this if theres so much on utube surley they be easy to find ...please police fbi etc etc please concentrate on stopping this ...but for the men whom go and abuse theese girls surly u have a consionce ...i cant spell....sorry .... im just frustrated that in 2022 this awful shit still happens .....
I went to high school with Caitlin. She was so sweet, always had a smile on her face, just a kind caring person. Thank you Kendall for covering this case
This case is local to me and hasn’t gotten anywhere near enough coverage. Thank you SO much for sharing her story and getting in contact with her sister ❤️
It's really sad that Kendall has to ask people not to say mean or negative things in the comments. Kendall I love that you try to help families that haven't had much coverage. I think cops should look for people no matter what the background. It is still a person.
The only thing I do think it’s important to note is that looking for work like she did is super dangerous and these things happen a lot. So I would rather work at McDonald’s than a stripper because these men are dangerous. No disrespect to the family. ☹️☹️☹️
This seriously sounds like a case of human trafficking. The fact that she left and didn't tell anyone, the fact that she left the state with this man, the fact she wouldn't name this man, that she said she was scared for her life, the attempted sexual assaults, and the fact he claimed she had 'just left' in the middle of the night.... and then later himself went missing, is extremely suspect. Because of the area she was in when she went missing, it's very possible that the police waved it off as human trafficking and just threw up their hands; as such cases are extremely difficult to solve. I really recommend that they reach out to investigators that specialize in human trafficking and missing persons cases. At this point the police are a hindrance to the investigation and appear to have made it clear that they won't help; so its better to reach out and find someone who could take over the case instead.
Yeah, and consider also the link between trucking and trafficking (transportation!), along with the several notable serial killers who have been truckers.
that was my thought exactly. people think human trafficking is just being snatched from a parking lot randomly, but often times people are brought into human trafficking through friends/boyfriends/partners. perhaps the Midland guy may have been grooming her over the course of the 6 months and then when she went out to visit she got roped into it?
It doesn't matter that she was a dancer. She deserves as much as attention as Gabby Petito. It's really an injustice when so many missing people don't get attention.
My sister went missing 23 years ago this year so I can really empathise with Rachel. I understand the need to feel like you have a sense of closure. I’m very grateful to be able to say I’ve had that closure fairly recently and I can only hope that Rachel gets the closure that she deserves. Definitely praying for Caitlin. ❤️❤️
@MariosBadHabit I’m in england. No need to spread the word though. They found my sister last year. Not the ending we wanted but we know now. I’m content with that. Thank you very much though. ❤️
When you said “people give police false info just to troll.” My heart dropped. People can be so nasty for no reason. Is there a petition we can sign to get the government to look more deeply into the case?
Not exactly but Kendall did leave the police department in Midland’s information in the description and a sample email/call for us. I’m sure if they get enough emails, we could really make some noise
Yeah, some people go out of their ways to be dicks for no reason, when I was homeless in winter in Missouri there were some folks who used to drive by in their sports cars (all young dudes) and throw cups of ice water on my for no reason then drive off, it would be like 20 or 30 degrees out too. It'll make you suspicious of people in general, most people ain't like that though
@@whatabouttheearth Those were some sick, horrible people that assaulted you and they should have been arrested for doing that. I hope you're doing better and have a safe place to hang your hat these days. Sending love and warmth from the west coast
I hate that people refuse to care about people involved with stripping and sex work when they go missing... They are JUST as deserving. She's a beautiful girl with a family and friends who miss her and love her. Kendall posting videos like these helps fight the stigma. Good work Kendall!
!! This !! I always hear the excuse “well if you’re working in that field you should know the dangers” THE DANGERS SHOULDNT BE THERE!! It shouldn’t be normal for sex workers to be assaulted, trafficked, murdered, etc.
People like to indulge in sexual content but refuse to respect the people bringing that content to them and it’s disgusting. And one too many times usually the people who have the strongest opinions on sex work have the most depraved fetishes that aren’t even or barely legal.
Caitlin wasn't the only woman that traveled to Midland and went missing. Krystal Hall, who looked a lot like her, came here in Oct 2019, and was never seen again. I've made several videos about this.
Maybe there’s a man who draws girls here & they aren’t heard from after it’s sad to say but things like this happen maybe more media about both cases here in midland can help get some answers for both families
Allegedly the permian basin, an area located right by Midland, is a sort of "superhighway" for human trafficking rings. Considering Caitlin and Krystal were both young attractive women it makes me wonder how many more people have vanished in the area and got forgotten by authorities.
The fact that anyone wouldn’t care about someone because of their profession, past or lifestyle truly shocks me. She was still a person who can feel pain, feel scared and has a family who is missing her. I’m heartbroken for her sister and I hope this case gets the attention it deserves. ❤️
No one should ever be written off because of their profession or lifestyle. EVER. The problem is that this man thought he had the right to someone else’s life.
Regardless of her choice of a career, she’s a human. She matters, her case matters. Thank you Kendall for covering cases like these, cause people like Caitlin are important.
It isn't about the police thinking she doesn't matter. This is what happens when police departments get defunded. They don't have enough funding to investigate every single case thoroughly. And it's only going to get worse and worse the more police departments get defunded. The policesre forced to make decisions about which cases they put money into unfortunately. So people who live high-risk lifestyles don't get the resources they deserve to get because the police had to make a decision. They've had to cut back on the amount of resources they have as well so not every single case can get the amount of money (and it cost a lot of money to thoroughly investigate a case, a lot of man hours, a lot of evidence collecting there's just a lot of money that goes in towards truly investigating a case). Who are they going to put the limited money and resources they having to finding? Someone who is knowingly living a high-risk and self-destructive lifestyle? Or someone who did everything right and still ended up in a file on a police desk? It sucks but that's the truth that no one wants to talk about. You (not you specifically a general you) can't demand the police put hundreds of thousands of dollars into every single case and then also demand they get defunded. That's not how things work. The police need more funding not less funding if you want these cases to get the attention and money put into them that they deserve. And it isn't going to get any better until people wake up and realize that demanding police departments get defunded is only hurting marginalized people.
@@WhitneyDahlin I absolutely agree. Police need to have the proper funding for cases such as this. Defunding our police isn’t doing anyone any bit of good. If said people don’t want to put money into the police for this then we need to make a department to cover these cases and fund that. As every single life should matter. Regardless of what makes each of us different. As for the defunding subject, this is one of those instances where if they want to take jobs away from our police by defunding them. They need to put another department in place to cover those jobs. Yet all we care about is just defunding them so missing persons, murders, and whatever else has to be a pick and choose kind of situation which is absolutely devastating for so many.
So, is the truck driver confirmed to be the same man she was at Wal*Mart with? I mean, I would HOPE that investigators would have gotten the surveillance footage from when Caitlin was at that store since it’s one of the last places she was before she went missing. Additionally, while she was there she told her sister she was scared so I’d think seeing that footage and the dynamic between Caitlin & the man might be of some help.
This is so cool, i went to look more into this case online and the 1st article was from may 2022 talking about how a new detective had been assigned because a very popular youtube channel had brought the case to light again! Thank you for what you do for these people's families ❤️
I usually hate when people say this but I do think it’s sad how gabby petitos case went absolutely crazy and we got our answers in a 2-3 month span but we can’t keep the same energy for other cases. We need to do the same for Caitlin!
Someone not having a pretty and perfect past does not mean they are any less worthy of looking for. It’s a shame that her disappearance is not being covered enough. Thank you Kendall for putting her name out there
Midland/Odessa is a huge trafficking area. I’m from a town pretty close to there and I get scared to even drive through. A lot of it comes from the huge oil boom a few years back so a lot of hotels got built quickly. Now they’re vacant and traffickers will rent out a whole floor for their victims and it’s heartbreaking. I want something to be done
@@ralv143 100% It also sounds like the 'bf' made her not tell her family who he was because he had bad intentions and didn't want it coming back to him.
My sister was a dancer for a while and guess what! It didn’t change the amazing person she is and she was able to provide a nice life for her children as a single mom 💯
Right! I've been dancing for over 10 years and love it! It definitely shouldn't be considered sex work! Nothing sexual is going on at all! No touching, clothed lap dances, we can't even touch our own nipples. Hence the reason lesbian and asexual, celebate dancers exist. My husband of 23 years remembers me telling him I wanted to be a dancer when I was 16 and then 2 kids later, and having to totally work on my body. He got to see me make that goal happen! It's been life changing for me, him, and our 2 kids who are now 21 and 16. :-) I love dancing and my club! :-)
Honestly, as a Christian woman saying this, if we can legalize gambling, lottery, alcohol, marijuana, and any other vices, then we should also legalize prostitution, etc. I would rather these women (and men), some of which are also minors, have safety/protection, insurance, benefits, etc. as other jobs do from abusive customers/clients and pimps. I may not agree with their lifestyle choices, but they still deserve protection and benefits to help them provide for themselves and their families in a safe environment.
@@MegUSN52 oh 100% especially if that person is choosing to do sex work, why shouldn’t they be allowed to? Who are we to say what men or women do with their bodies?
Rachel should contact the Gabby Petito foundation. The Petito family started the cause to help the families of missing people! Praying that she is found! Never give up hope! Keep climbing that mountain.
Caitlin is a sister, a daughter, a best friend. And she deserves to be found, no matter what she did to make her money. Shared the video, and the poster. I’m in the UK but I really hope it helps and I hope you find her soon!❤️
I want to cry right now, I didn't know her very well but we went to high school together and she was SO SWEET. I've been requesting for people to cover this case for years and I really thought there was a chance this case would be forgotten. Thank you Kendall, this case needs attention so badly and you have the kind of reach that can really make a difference.
The Gabby Petito Foundation was made to help young women (and young people in general) that are missing. Perhaps Caitlyn’s family could contact them to see if they have any resources that could help in the search! 💕 (Edited To Add: I’ll be writing a letter, as requested, to the police to ask them to move the case up the priority list! 💔)
THEY LITERALLY HAVE THE GUY. Holy crap this makes me so mad. They knew where she was when she went missing with an EXACT location? And they won’t tell her who the guy was? What a disaster I am so mad.
GIRL, SAME! I'm gonna call the Odessa and Midland local news and police & help push them to cover and investigate the case. I'm doing what I can from the SF bay - would love to hear that more people out of the area are following suit. It's not much, but hopefully having the public flood them with calls will light a fire under their arse to do more than they have.
All of the people who were standing out in front of the Laundries house, demanding answers should now be standing out the front of the police station in charge of this case. As sad as the Gabby Petito case is, she is no more important than Caitlyn. There should be just as much attention from people on this case.
All cases of missing people should get the same coverage as Gabby's. Her story is awful and heartbreaking, but her family got their answers really quickly. It just sucks that there are so many awful people in this world who commit heinous crimes against others. There just isn't enough time to give them all the attention they deserve. One of the things I really like about Kendall is that she tries her hardest to find cases that REALLY need the spotlight.
@@somethingcleverrrr Yes I'm happy she covered this case, I've emailed the PD and told them it's now international and we will all be keeping up with this case, I was polite but firm. I hope they damned well read it X
Unfortunately due to the political climate in Texas, the cops will be protected by the rich, Christian, citizens. What needs to happen is making the individual cops known publicly and if possible, get a bunch of people blocking and surrounding the police station. If cops can't get in to do their paper work or investigate "worthy" people than they'll be forced to capitulate to the Caitlyn's case. Does Texas have a two-party consent law regarding recordings, because if they don't, that also a good way to keep them on their toes.
Caitlyn housed me when I had nowhere to go. She deserves better. She’s an amazing friend and person and really appreciate you giving this more traction.
Seeing her last location being Walmart made my heart drop. In Michigan near one of the colleges they just found out a Meijer is a hub for human trafficking.
This was my first thought to either she was actually looking for exotic dancer jobs or she was trying to pursue porn and somehow ended up getting human trafficked if that is the case though there still might be a chance of finding her but it's a sad situation all the way around especially since she didn't feel comfortable enough telling anyone the truth of who she was with or what was really
yesss, i love her for this. it’s better to me to hear straight from the family, their viewpoint instead of the police’s viewpoint. it breaks my heart a little more but at least we’re getting accurate information about the case.
Such a devastating case. Props to the sister and the friend for not giving up. Definitely the kind of friend/sibling you want in your life. What it sounds like to me is sex trafficking. The guy she was at Walmart with most likely sold her into it and then dipped when the police came around. I really really hope she’s okay and will be able to get back home safely. She’s such a beautiful girl and her past or her profession shouldn’t matter even a tiny bit. She’s a human being that doesn’t deserve to be swept under the rug like that.
for real. unfortunately being part of the sex work industry makes you vulnerable to human trafficking, far more than the average person. i'm not even going to get into how this intersects with certain groups being more disadvantaged and therefore more vulnerable than others, which is part of why we need to treat people with compassion regardless of their "lifestyle". point is, y'all could be watching her being forced to "perform" on sketchy p0rn sites and not even know it. these things happen and i agree with u cael that this explanation is very plausible
My best friend is a dancer, this has always been my worst nightmare for her for the exact reason that cops don't take SW's lives seriously. I hope Caitlin is found, she deserves to be looked for just the same as anyone else.
@@katpleroux7756 doesn’t matter. Technically they are not sex workers. To label a stripper / Gogo dancer in the same category as a sex worker/ escort is just incorrect information.
It deeply saddens me that even in this day and age, women's profession, skin colour, sexuality and past dictates whether we are seen as worthy. This girl was a person. Being a dancer or a sex worker should not mean that she is not seen as important or thrown away. Her sister and friends and family love her and are fighting to do the work that law enforcement should be doing. It does not matter who you are or what you do for work, if you are missing, all efforts should be made to put you back with your loved ones. This truly breaks my heart. Sending all the love to those effected, especially her sister.
Being a sex worker doesnt make someone less human. I've known a lot of people, some of them were my friends. And theyre the purest and kindest soul ive ever met in my whole life. Much better than those I met inside the church. ❤️
I’m fearing it was a sex trafficking thing. There are some scary people out there that will take advantage of people that may be in a vulnerable spot and it’s scary.
that was my thought exactly. people think human trafficking is just being snatched from a parking lot randomly, but often times people are brought into human trafficking through friends/boyfriends/partners. seems like the Midland guy may have been grooming her over the course of the 6 months and then when she went out to visit she got roped into it?
Some dojos and firearms places will give free training to women, I know of one specifically in Oakland California named Suigetsukan that used to do so, the guy and gal who ran it were pretty cool. Y'all gals should check your local area for training, it pays to be a hard target. Semper Fi
Caitlin deserves as much attention as Gabby P did. The entire world should know about her and her situation with being missing. I wish there were something more I could do, because this could have been any one of us at one time in our life.
@@uponamidnightdreary but you should automatically respect them as a person, no matter who they are. People who judge on jobs are idiots and unfortunately there are A LOT of idiots
I have had 2 murders in my family one is unsolved, 2003, ( family pushed it off because he did drugs.. really upsetting happened in,, Detroit)the other was solved in 1982. In Cimarron ks very tiny town population at the time was probably 1,200. Only murder, there.
What I respect and admire the most about Kendall's videos is how humanizing they are regarding the victims - they are/were people, with dreams, plans and fears, and should be remembered as such, not as a character in a "gory story"
The police’s silence is probably because they know/feel that man is responsible for many other girls going missing, so they’re holding their information close to their chests. Trafficking is a huge problem to tackle.
Sadly it's a huge problem 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. Your optimistic perspective just seems a little credulous when talking into account family's statements regarding the treatment of them and the case. As ridiculous and disgusting as it is true, with heavy media coverage comes the public's intetest, scrutiny, and pressure to solve a case; to which they haven't received. So sad. Glad that Kendall's able to use her platform to shed a little light and hope for her family's sake. $5K is absolutely amazing!!!
The fact that there are people out there who actually takes time to troll this case/situation/family is disgusting. Prayers to Caitlin and her family for answers.
human trafficking is crazy in texas, sounds like that to me, considering she was around a lot of men, it sounds like she was high risk. I really hope she’s okay. Sending love to Rachel
When she sent her sister her location and it pinged that Walmart could the police not have gone looked at surveillance videos and seen if they could find Caitlin and whatever man that she was with?
This is why foundations to find so-called "unworthy" women are sadly so necessary for cases like these. I hope this case gets some traction, it really hit my soul because she sounds just like me at her age. 😞
Man I love her sister so much. She's got great energy and carries herself so well while talking about a tough situation. I truly hope Cailtin is brought home safe.
Exotic dancer? I know plenty of classy, headstrong, self respecting, goal oriented young ladies who dance. They are some of the kindest, most caring, empathetic people that I know. ❤️ Anyone who judges her…. Mind your own. She didn’t deserve to go missing. She deserves to be found. Her family deserves justice. ❤️🙏🏽 God bless the family and loved ones on this journey.
Can't be an "exotic dancer" and be classy.. just not possible lol. It goes against the actual definition of the word classy, to expose yourself to random men in public for money.. that's not classy at all lol
@@ExternuI I would like to incline that you do not know what people are going through. It doesn't matter what career choices they make. This opinion of yours is very negative and should not be said again.
I’m disgusted by the fact that the media won’t touch these cases. A missing person is a missing person is a missing person doesn’t matter what they do or who they are.
It may have already been said, but I truly think Caitlin may have been a victim of human sex trafficking. Especially when she didn’t release the name of the guy she was with and saying how scared she was over the phone. I hope she is found and the family gets justice.
Thank you, Kendall, for never cherry picking the cases you discuss for any reason - race, age, gender, situation, CAREER, etc. Thank you for always being so respectful. Thank you for doing so much for these families, for going above & beyond doing things you don't *_have to_* do (donating the adsense on so many videos, promoting small businesses, telling people to be respectful in the comments, etc). Even though most of us will never truly know what Kendall's like behind the scenes (like any other influencer or person in general), you can tell when someone genuinely cares.
I’m so sorry Rachael and her friend are going through this. As far as her career choice, who is anybody to judge. They would be very surprised how many people in the PTA, teaching Sunday school etc… have done things that others would judge. I’d a lot rather my daughter be an exotic dancer with a beautiful soul than any moralizing religious leader, or a CEO, a Politician, brain surgeon, or any other career people admire but have no empathy for others. We are all God’s children and we only have to answer for ourselves. God bless her and her family.
Ken Mains is a passionate cold case detective. He has a youtube channel called "unsolved no more." I know other families have reached out to him before and he does try to help any way he can. It wouldn't hurt to try to reach out to him, because he is very passionate for victims and is dogged in his pursuit of justice once he gets his teeth into something. Hoping for the best for Caitlins family. I will go to his channel to suggest Caitlins case to him.
I am from midland/odessa, unfortunately sex trafficking is a huge issue here and i’m getting a feeling this might have something to do with her disappearance. I hope she’s found safe and sound 💗
Funding family's private detective, just when I thought you couldn't be more amazing. Your depth of empathy is truly admirable and should be a goal for ppl to aspire to. You're making actually efforts to solve things by reaching out to families. Just impressed.
We love you Kendall. I personally love when you have family members on cases. Especially when they aren't getting the proper media coverage they deserve. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
Good for the girlfriend for giving them a DNA sample of her boyfriends to solve that murder, I really respect that. I hope one day Caitlin will be found.
This breaks my heart more than I can express. Sadly, it really does sound like a trafficking especially with the trucking story and the controlling behavior that seemed to be presented by the man. It is mind blowing how much trafficking is moved through truck stops around the country. Caitlin sounds like a lovely girl who’s family loves her so much. I really hope the detectives begin to take this seriously because it is very possible that Caitlin could be found. My heart goes out to her family…this is devastating
It always upsets me to hear that some cases just don't get coverage. I feel for Caitlin's family in the pit of my stomach. I cannot imagine how horrible that is.
Breaks my heart that Rachel hasn’t gotten any answers from the investigators about her sister. My heart goes out to her and her family to get justice for Caitlin. These cases can be so frustrating but justice hopefully within time will be made! You’re so awesome Kendall for spreading awareness for these cases that need it. This is why I love your channel ✨
Cases like this with sisters really hit home for me. My sister is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her. I really hope Rachel finds Caitlin, or even gets answers. It really pisses me off how certain people and their cases get brushed off/ignored if they aren't deemed "worthy" enough to be found.
Same and as a big sister this one hit home for me 😔 and the fact that I’m barely hearing about this case blows my mind smh but it also eases my mind to know people like kandell care enough to share cases like these.
Hey everyone, really sad at this. I hope she is found alive and well. Chilling part of last hearing from her saying she is really scared for her life. I can't even think of how I'd react in that situation. Sucks that they deem her as not as important due to her work. Keep praying and stay strong. Love and well wishes from the Caribbean
From a person who has worked in a “strip club” as a server, I know from experience that most of the dancers are very antisocial/ very private. Stories like these are sadly pushed under the rug. Thank you @kendallrea for continuing to bringing her history to life again.
I’m not sure if this would be helpful or if it’ll even be seen, but I’m close to Midland and would be honored to help in whatever capacity I can! If it would be help to act as a liaison between the family and police since I AM able be there in person or however else I can help. If needed, I’m happy to provide contact information to begin helping!
Just ordered the Mountain High bracelet for my 16 year old daughter. She struggles with depression and anxiety and I feel she is going to absolutely love this particular bracelet 🥰
So sad seeing this case! I live in Midland and when I saw her last location to be that Walmart near the interstate my mind went straight to trafficking. It's been a very big thing here and that location is definitely a hub for it.
Whatever horrible things people say about Caitlin is a reflection on them and their character as a person. She seems like a wonderful person and I hope she’s found safely soon ♥️
It hits me really really hard when I see a case where the victim is literally me. Caitlin even looks just like me at her age. I was a dancer and struggled with substance abuse and mental health. I was involved in sex work. I’m 27 now and consider myself so lucky to be alive today. Caitlin, if you’re out there please try to contact someone safe to let your family know you’re okay. You are loved and worthy of happiness. And Rachel, I can only hope my sister would do for me what you’ve done for Caitlin. You are so strong.

It is unfortunate how prejudiced they are - seemingly all over the world. I can't recall how many true crime videos I've watched where police prejudice based on whether the victim was "respectable" in their eyes seriously hampered the investigation. Maybe it's easy to say that they should be unbiased, but it appears that "officers" remain first and foremost individuals who bring their bias with them into their workplace. 😥
I experience the exact same thing as a male. If I ever have to attend the Dr's as soon as its known I struggle with a 14yr heroin addiction, I am instantly written off and looked down on. I have been medicated and treated for mental health issues since I was around 6yo and due to childhood trauma have found myself self-medicating yet psychologists and Dr's instead try and put everything I suffer onto my substance use, not actually address the core reason I feel the need to numb my life and feelings in order to survive. EVERY SINGLE PERSON matters and treated the same. Everyone's voice and opinion should be heard and feel validated 😔 I've never been arrested, never committed a crime, steal from anyone/anywhere... Hell I don't even know another addict apart from my supply who I've used for over a decade and drops off to me everyday. Just like sex workers, we aren't all the same! But we do all have a voice and a valid story as to how and why we are in the situations we are. Be it out of choice or not! And let me tell you, there aren't many people who actively choose to end up in these situations out of free will.
It's because they *know* they were likely trafficked, and many officials are corrupt and involved in the huge money scam of trafficking. Depressing as f
I'm a 31yr old mother of 2. I struggled with a heroin addiction for 8yrs, I've been clean 6yrs my addiction took me to some dark places I became a prostitute a few yrs into my addiction. I just wanted to give a little back story. This last summer I was leaving the river around 11pm I was with 2 girls I had meet earlier that day. Once I got to the car a man grabbed me from behind I had to fight for my life somehow I was able to get away. I remember running through the woods through a mile of blackberry bushes, I could hear men following behind me speaking Spanish and talking about which way I was going (don't speak Spanish I'm guessing). I was able to make it to the road and ran in front of a car who drove me to the hospital. The hospital had me shower right away treated me horrible and the police didn't do a damn thing. All because of my past. Sorry just wanted to share with someone....

The amount of strength that her sister has for speaking about her sister's death/disappearance is inspiring. I can't imagine how hard it must be to continue to be strong after losing your sister/best friend. Stripper or not, doesn't mean that her life isn't worth it. She deserves to be found.

Let’s bring as much awareness to this case as we can. It’s the least we can do as a fellow human to try and get answers for Caitlin’s family and hopefully try and bring her home 🙏🏻🖤

I'll share, when my father found out that I was a cam model and dancer, he told me that if I got assaulted, I would deserve it. I hope she is found hopefully alive and mostly well.

Yes it makes me furious every time she has to start a video this way
I know …but there are a lot of heartless people these days 😢
i heard that and immediately came to the comments. it’s so upsetting that it needs to be said.
I was thinking the same thing but then I also was thinking it could be a very high possibility that this quote-unquote man was married
Yeah, and consider also the link between trucking and trafficking (transportation!), along with the several notable serial killers who have been truckers.
was also thinking that. seems like she may have been trafficked and the PD simply doesn’t care. so awful.
that was my thought exactly. people think human trafficking is just being snatched from a parking lot randomly, but often times people are brought into human trafficking through friends/boyfriends/partners. perhaps the Midland guy may have been grooming her over the course of the 6 months and then when she went out to visit she got roped into it?
Also no ID at airport
It doesn't matter that she was a dancer. She deserves as much as attention as Gabby Petito. It's really an injustice when so many missing people don't get attention.
I agree with you 💯. Her case deserves as much coverage as the next

Caitlin wasn't the only woman that traveled to Midland and went missing. Krystal Hall, who looked a lot like her, came here in Oct 2019, and was never seen again. I've made several videos about this.
Do you think there is a connection to both of the cases?
Maybe there’s a man who draws girls here & they aren’t heard from after it’s sad to say but things like this happen maybe more media about both cases here in midland can help get some answers for both families
I totally thought that’s who this was at first!! I didn’t realize it was all centered around midland 😳 that’s not a coincidence
Allegedly the permian basin, an area located right by Midland, is a sort of "superhighway" for human trafficking rings. Considering Caitlin and Krystal were both young attractive women it makes me wonder how many more people have vanished in the area and got forgotten by authorities.
@@nadinerusso0808 that could also explain why police is doing so poorly on this case. Oftentimes they are part of it as well..

Perfect said!

The Petito family has started a foundation to help missing people get more media attention. It’s not their fault.
Caitlyn housed me when I had nowhere to go. She deserves better. She’s an amazing friend and person and really appreciate you giving this more traction.
I just don’t understand how and why people troll GRIEVING families. Like how evil and cruel do you have to be? Hoping Caitlin gets justice!!
Seeing her last location being Walmart made my heart drop. In Michigan near one of the colleges they just found out a Meijer is a hub for human trafficking.
I've felt like walmarts are a hub for human trafficking for years. When you see all the missing last seen at Walmart posters anywhere its alarming
@@SenoritaKaosiklisto could be due to the false sense of safety at a public place
@Jennifer Spicer most likely. I'm always on high alert at Walmart though, I've had too many creepy encounters there.
Midland is a hub as well.
I support Kendall BC of her active empathy and support of the victim's families.
yesss, i love her for this. it’s better to me to hear straight from the family, their viewpoint instead of the police’s viewpoint. it breaks my heart a little more but at least we’re getting accurate information about the case.
Yes
Absolutely 🙏
Such a devastating case. Props to the sister and the friend for not giving up. Definitely the kind of friend/sibling you want in your life.
What it sounds like to me is sex trafficking. The guy she was at Walmart with most likely sold her into it and then dipped when the police came around. I really really hope she’s okay and will be able to get back home safely. She’s such a beautiful girl and her past or her profession shouldn’t matter even a tiny bit. She’s a human being that doesn’t deserve to be swept under the rug like that.
That is what I’m thinking. She was sold into it. Walmart’s are a hot slot for that.
for real. unfortunately being part of the sex work industry makes you vulnerable to human trafficking, far more than the average person. i'm not even going to get into how this intersects with certain groups being more disadvantaged and therefore more vulnerable than others, which is part of why we need to treat people with compassion regardless of their "lifestyle". point is, y'all could be watching her being forced to "perform" on sketchy p0rn sites and not even know it. these things happen and i agree with u cael that this explanation is very plausible
My best friend is a dancer, this has always been my worst nightmare for her for the exact reason that cops don't take SW's lives seriously. I hope Caitlin is found, she deserves to be looked for just the same as anyone else.

Sending all the love to those effected, especially her sister.
no it doesn’t

That’s what I’m thinking too…. I really hope it’s not the case though. Poor girl, I hope she’s okay.
that was my thought exactly. people think human trafficking is just being snatched from a parking lot randomly, but often times people are brought into human trafficking through friends/boyfriends/partners. seems like the Midland guy may have been grooming her over the course of the 6 months and then when she went out to visit she got roped into it?
Some dojos and firearms places will give free training to women, I know of one specifically in Oakland California named Suigetsukan that used to do so, the guy and gal who ran it were pretty cool. Y'all gals should check your local area for training, it pays to be a hard target. Semper Fi
She means the world to her sister, and she's a person. That should more than enough reason for the police to do their jobs.

Caitlin deserves as much attention as Gabby P did. The entire world should know about her and her situation with being missing. I wish there were something more I could do, because this could have been any one of us at one time in our life.
This is so sad. Someone’s lifestyle should not determine their worth as a person. :(

I have had 2 murders in my family one is unsolved, 2003, ( family pushed it off because he did drugs.. really upsetting happened in,, Detroit)the other was solved in 1982. In Cimarron ks very tiny town population at the time was probably 1,200. Only murder, there.

its so extremely sad that she isn't taken as seriously becauase of her "high risk" lifestyle. EVERYONE deserves justice
The police’s silence is probably because they know/feel that man is responsible for many other girls going missing, so they’re holding their information close to their chests. Trafficking is a huge problem to tackle.
Also a massive problem in Texas
Sadly it's a huge problem 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. Your optimistic perspective just seems a little credulous when talking into account family's statements regarding the treatment of them and the case. When she sent her sister her location and it pinged that Walmart could the police not have gone looked at surveillance videos and seen if they could find Caitlin and whatever man that she was with?
That just makes way too much sense.

they probably could and decided not to because the police suck sometimes
This is why foundations to find so-called "unworthy" women are sadly so necessary for cases like these. I hope this case gets some traction, it really hit my soul because she sounds just like me at her age. 😞

Her liftstyle is just a clue for what kind of danger she might encounter. She is a person. She deserves to be found.

And America or the police aren’t doing more to stop that from happening sadly…
It always upsets me to hear that some cases just don't get coverage. I feel for Caitlin's family in the pit of my stomach. I cannot imagine how horrible that is.
