Was informative and the you gave purpose to what you were showing. I’m interested to see how you find the next merc in 4stroke. Outboard tech has come a l long way. Again mate, great vid, cheers.
Always battle of brands and for me informative but sometimes boring. Same as Holden/Ford Jackall/Kakoda one is always better in someone’s eyes. I know what I like and I’m certain you do also. 👍🎣🎣
I used Lowrance for three years and switched to Garmin a few months ago. I’ve seen more fish with Garmin in the last few months than what I saw with Lowrance in three years. Definitely recommend trying one of the GPSMAP 84 series units. They are more expensive, but you forget about the cost once you see the screen resolution. I now run one 8412, two 8416’s, Livescope and a Force. Definitely a Garmin convert 😂
Do a vid on the comparison between active and Garmin livescope. Could be interesting especially considering the hummingbird is just trickling into Australia.

Awesome review and solid justification, my dream is the garmin motor and sounder, but I want to pair it with the Garmin MARQ captain watch, because all of the boat data on your wrist as well as adding to the chartplotter, depth readings and more, that's my little dream on my boat but loving all of your content, keep up the awesome work. Keen to see a second Garmin with the livescope on board. If you don't find it to your liking you can throw it my way 😜. Also re keeping the Lowrance for the data would be keen to see a review about migrating waypoints, there is software to do it through GPX files but it would be interesting to see real world examples and finding out what gets lost.
@@ByronTeaHill to me that makes you the perfect candidate. The chances of anyone having all the knowledge before making the jump between competitors is very low. Since you have access to the higher end products and having a punt to determine if it's straight forward or achievable with minimum or a large amount of effort is super useful knowledge when considering a brand swap. It is also something I wouldn't expect the average sales person to know

The wrap design looks mint! I wish I had a rod locker in my boat, would be so good to get the rods out of the way. I’m also keen to hear your thoughts on the lowrance Vs Garmin too
Garmin is an easy win purely for its voltage range. It can run on a 5S lithium pack at 20.5 volts (full) which is the lightest and longest lasting option.
I will be waiting for this review with the swap to Garmin and see if it is a upgrade I have often wondered what would be like after seeing it’s use in the USA BASS circuit and watching Steve Morgan and Mathew Mott they sure seen crisp Nice tour of the boat buddy and hmmmm not sure how I feel about opening those boxes a fisher person needs some secrets in our boxes lol

Ok so jealous of the boat, I have the good old family boat which is great for crating memories and having fun with the kids, but every now and then I look at a bass boat and think how much easier fishing would be. I like the plans for the boat, keen to see the wrap. I will be interested in your view of the Zodias rods, I had one of the older generations but I wasn't impressed, it then broke on a cast so it may have just been a dodgy one.

Yeah man, the 4strokes are super quiet and sounds great on the water hey. Apparently fuel economy is pretty solid on them.

There’s one big down side to the bass boat = no shade anywhere… yeah I’m keen to give a couple of the rods a play and see how they go.

There’s a foldable flange on the drawbar under the nose of the boat. So the boats 18.5 long and total length is around 19 feet.
