LOL, I skimmed through the comments and did a little research. And I think... Since it's a deeply hidden secret, I found out that not all axes are flush at the top. Some are designed with the handle sticking out a ¼ inch or so. Also, for some reason, some designers have bullet casings or something else, sticking out for another ¼inch. I know a teeny bit about firearms and most newbies are not aware that the buttplate of a rifle was intended for leaning your weapon against a tree, wall, etc. and not damage your rifle. I'm going out on a limb and guessing that the extra wood, bullet casings are for standing the axe upright and not damaging the actual axehead. IDK, IDC.... that's my guess and it sounds great to me 👍🏿😢

I think this man should be a high quality prop maker. Dont get me wrong, im sure it will still work, but its clearly art over function (and that is not bad). Its beautiful and im sure that in a tight spot it works fine. But its not a daily tool. For me this would hit the sweet spot of collectibles. If it had some tie ins i was interested in.
