I met pepper in Winston Salem NC he's my favorite guitar player ever. Nice dude met him on my brother Dion's birthday. He signed my brothers arm right beside the tattoo of corrosion tattoo I did. We went home and tattooed his autograph on my brother before he passed away. Thanks Pepper

As far as Down being well known or not, every band has their fanbase. Just because they're not "Metallica" big doesn't mean their not known. The average "metalhead" you talk to at the bar doesn't really know anything outside Maiden, Priest, Big 4, and Pantera. People claim to be metalheads but if you bring up even a legendary band like Exodus for example, they look at you like they've never heard of them... Down is much more than just a metal band anyway. Their wide range of influence isn't going to please every metalhead.

Ran into Pat at the Corrosion of Conformity show in New Orleans. Asked him if Down will ever do anything again. His response was sort of "we usually will sooner or later." And he is a very nice dude.
No bs, I was hanging with Pepper at Dime's in 12/2018 after the Dime and Vince tribute show in Arlington(CoC was the headliner). He said almost the exact same thing!

Completely agree. Pantera is my favorite band of all time, and Phil is my favorite front man in metal. I love Down, Superjoint, Scour and The Illegals. The dude just has the goods.

I've been a Pantera fan since the day they broke, I feel sincerely blessed to have seen them live in the early 90's in Buffalo NY, small venue. To this day and hundreds of well known metal concerts later it is still the number 1 best show (slot shared w 90's Manson) for some reason, maybe out of grief, I could never listen to either of their projects after their break up. Never listened to Damage Plan, nor Down or any others. I'm regretting that now. Glad Phil is still around!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I didn't listen to that Pantera wannabe band after Pantera (DamagePlan). So, let me tell you straight, you're talking to a "TRUE FAN" and Pantera was not ANYTHING until Phil joined it, and when Phil left, it fell apart. So, once the SOUL of the band left, it crumbled.
