Hopefully ... the successor Type 131will be ICE, as Lotus at one time said it would their last before going all electric. There is a lot riding on it so perhaps we get "one more" great car. Can't wait to see how it compares to my Elise, and we should know in a few months when they finally reveal it. The Evija does nothing for me as it is all electric/no manual and also will be a heavy car. Fingers crossed Lotus sticks with the lightness formula for the long awaited 131.

In my opinion these are the cars that ive grown too and move me. Esp. this it’s like you to explained. It is seriously a Elise with Evora all perfectly combined. These are the last of any optioned manual transmission fun light weight cars.
I had a hard time accepting electric cars. But slowly loved Hybrid cars as I do work on them. They have their positive and negatives. I’m not into full electric cars are they expire. Versus Otto cycle vehicles they are more friendly to work on. High voltage systems just aren’t my cup of Tea. The Lotus hyper
Electric car is truly something else. Maybe as the technology becomes more reliable, safe, available, and cost effective I may switch to full electric. Just not for now and while the entire world transitions and is show casing electric vehicles ⚡️
I have yet to Jump the full electric band wagon. My reasoning is this... I’m Filipino and I don’t see the 3rd world such as my country the Philippines 🇵🇭 going full electric any time
soon. This is just my own personal view. We use Jeepnes as a main form of transportation “taxis” in Philippines and they are all 99% diesel powered and apart of our culture. Until the world goes “entirely” electric along with the 3rd world. I will keep my Lotus cars and treasure my gas ⛽️ vehicles more then ever!

EVs have not really grown on us at all. But we agree with your view point on hybrid cars, it's a nice way to enjoy the best of both worlds. It is very enjoyable to drive on electricity when in the city for example. But you still get the option to have a bit more fun on the roads. We haven't explored much of the hybrid territory, but that's roughly how we've felt with our little experience with them.
Overall, the EV world is still new territory and it will take time to get there... let's see what the future holds!
