One of my personal favorites that I use every day is the medication app that is integrated into the Health app on your phone. It’s exclusive to Apple Watch.
Fantastic video, thanks. Never knew there was a spirit level! Journal App I won’t use till it’s also on iPad and Mac (baffling why it isn’t there already?)
I agree that it's baffling that the journal app still isn't on anything else, but maybe they want people to journal using speech to text so that it's like a quick and easy thing to do?
The iPhone measurements are very inaccurate. If you just need a very general idea of the size of something, it's ok in a pinch. If you need accurate results, do not use the iPhone to measure.
I always have felt the same when it comes to this so I tested it against a measuring tape secured to a table, a wall, as well as across the 90 degree of two walls meeting and was suprised as hell it was near spot on. Big thing is I went pretty slow when moving the phone across the area to be measured. Like you said though, I wouldn’t build a house with it, or furniture lol. It’s good enough for rough measurements you can fine tune later though and certainly handy. I can’t imagine doing anything super specific if only due to how slow I had to measure stuff to be sure it was correct
🐬 Awesome video! The Measure application definitely will come in handy! I’ll make sure my parents know about it when we make the move to Georgia. The Translate app definitely would come in handy when visiting a different country. I have not been out of the continent of North America. I’ve been to Toronto Canada, but that is it.
Native iOS apps are a big part of why I just went with an iPhone (13 pro, older model) The fact that Android and google apps SUCK , and I mean SUCK terribly , is infuriating . Google doesn't make efforts, their apps are lacking , barebone , lack so many features, barely get updates , and ... there aren't many apps anyway . No native apps to replace apple pro suite You got what, keep , google tasks, docs (which isn't bad actually ) ... It saddens me because it's part of Android downfall imo. Apple is consumer oriented so they care about users. But Android doesn't make as much money so they don't rly care
@ as far as implementation goes, i find apple intelligence much smarter than gemini tbh. gemini cannot access text and summarize it or modify it, unless im wrong?
@@arm8636 me personally I dot really find Apple intelligence that great. Clean up is great for photography, and writing tools is a nice alternative to Grammarly, but the rest idk.

I need the journal app on iPad
You and me both!
@Samuel_Benes And on Mac!
@Samuel_Benes same - then I would totally use my keyboard
@@caroline_catbridges_kitty5384 Yeah and the apple pencil pro.
Probably coming this year behind the iCloud+ paywall.. They will need to make all the entries sync with iCloud anyways
You forgot to mention the measure app also recognizes people and will give you their height if they are in frame.

@@HearMeLearn Or maybe they want to gently sneak up on the DayOne App as its so big and popular rather than face a huge backlash?
Hello, can I have a link to the wallpapers please?
I can’t believe that the translation app doesn’t have Greek but has so many less known languages
Really enjoy using the Journal app. Wish there was an iPad version. 🐬

It has been very handy for me, I use it during painting and hanging items ob wall
Thank you.
Thanks for the loud music at the beginning. So helpful to not hear what you are saying.
I’ve been an iPhone user since the 12 series , I must confess many of the apps I’ve probably never even opened , I should make the effort I guess.
Does the level in the measure app account for things like the buttons or camera bump?
don’t think so.
Yes, it does.
Does the translation app require an active data plan if I'm not on wifi?
Translate is really limited compared to what is offered by Google’s Translate app.😅
measure app - I've never got a correct distance yet - why didn't you check it?,
how off though? it could be good for just checking real quick around how long something is
Bravo!

Some of those apps also work on Apple Watch

Tbh Android is kinda like Windows in a way that they both have a bunch of bloatware
@@CodedEnough i'd be fine with bloatware if default apps were good lol
When it comes to AI, Apple’s so far behind Google.
