Vinny at the beginning: plays US version and wants to choose Alucard's route
    Me: "Oh no."

Fact: they made Nintendo games much more difficult in the US because of places like Blockbuster. Video game rentals were illegal in Japan so they had no reason to make games overtly difficult, but in the US, by artificially increasing difficulty, they ensured most 8 year olds couldn’t beat it in a weekend. This ensures multiple rentals or parents outright buying the game. A good example of artificially increased difficulty on the NES is Battletoads.

Why were they illegal in Japan? That’s a weird ass law

@Joshua Tyler Awesome! I used it and stole 100k in BTC from Elon Musk himself, used that to buy a new car, and now I'm driving it to your mom's house.
Who even hacks their girlfriend's shit? If you can't trust her, don't be with her.

Sixth game in the series, believe it or not. There was Vampire Killer for MSX computers in '86, Haunted Castle for the arcades in '88, and the Castlevania: The Aventure for Game Boy a couple months earlier in '89.

Thank you for this, there are barely any Castlevania compilations on UA-cam, this was a very good one!
I was wondering what the song is at 09:18?

16:10 - I didn't know there were different types of cocaine.

Crack was big in the early 80s through the 90s. Regular cocaine can be snorted or injected (and taken a few other ways if you're particularly adventurous), but can't be smoked. Making it into crack changes it to a form that can be burned and inhaled. As a result, it's more immediately potent but less lasting, and insanely more addictive. I don't believe it's possible to overdose on it, either. Use of it mostly died out because if you have cocaine, just do the cocaine; it's more enjoyable and less likely to ruin your life or make you set yourself on fire like it did Richard Pryor.
There's a fairly prevalent theory that crack was developed and distributed by the US government in poor, black, and gay populations in the US to fund covert missions in South America. Normally these kind of rumors are baseless, but the farther we get from anyone still being alive to be held accountable, the more information is declassified that really lends to that theory. When Jimmy Carter finally kicks it, we're probably going to get some wild details.
