i'd seriously recommend this to anyone learning AE for the first time. this is without a doubt one of the videos with the best info/time i've ever seen
*GREAT WORK DAN!!* I think it is time for "Another 20 Things I Wish I knew Earlier". After Effects is so complex there are hundreds of tips and tricks still needing to be shown.
Nice video. The shortcut for Pen is G because P is reserved for position shortcut. I had to remap the shortcut since I used it so much in other pans I couldnt get used to it being P ( I remapped N - as position shortcut I had to modify the txt file since you can change it in shortcut menu in AE).
This video and tutorial and the trainer are AWESOME. Problem is, UA-cam "hides" these videos. Can't find good stuff like this. I got to change my VPN to some other side of the planet to get different stuff.
Been playing with AE for about a couple of years, most days. There are some golden Dubloons here and thanks for the enrichment. You have n't posted for a while but this was worth waiting for. Don't be so shy going forward - share the knowledge, Dansky. It's a difficult program and light shone into the dar corners very gratefully received (Oh and nice to hear a Brit for a change too!) KP
This is one of my personal favorite Tip videos. I'm stuck on a Lightning Storm Project. I'm trying to create a Storm scene out of 2D images butI need to find out how to desaturate the Cloud from Red to Dark blue without making it look weird..which brings me to say, I hope you post a tutorial how to use a 2d Image such as a thunder cloud, and change it's color and illumination as it strikes lightning. I've watched about 3 videos on this subject and everyone talks too fast and doesn't really let me keep up. also missing vital clues.
You are selling yourself short with that overused thumbnail and ridiculous expression. Your videos are much better than that. Be original, set the standard instead of copying it.

Love you sir.
😊
Amazing content. Do you have basic tutorials you can recommend for after effects?
There’s a playlist on my channel with some more tutorials if that’s helpful 🙂
@@ForeverDansky thanks again!
How would you make an animation of a 3D business card mock-up? After effects? Blender?
Thanks so much Benjamin! For 3D animation personally I’d use something like Blender 👍
@@ForeverDansky thanks for the reply Dansky!

Thanks for the feedback. Although I do find it curious that you clicked my ridiculous expression to watch the video 😉
