Genius. Thoroughly captivating.
Of all of Deaky's many talents and accomplishments everyone forgets that he was a master triangle player
Absolutely 😂✌🏼❤️
This was at another level. Just another level. A virtuoso performance.
A great day for this. We are all remembering Freddie today, who left us 30 years ago today. RIP Freddie. Never forgotten. A musical genius who left a huge legacy.
Never will any band be this good and talented. Love them so much for so long . ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Most definitely!!!! 💯👑
Forever…
I can’t quite get my head around the fact that today marks 30 years since Freddie Mercury died….where has that time gone? I can remember it like it was yesterday - although we didn’t actually hear until the Monday when we woke up & it came on the TV news & i couldn’t believe it…mum came in from the kitchen crying & bang a huge part of my life up to that point had just disappeared…I was devastated & not many deaths have effected me more…even though I’d never met Freddie, he was just “there” since dad got a copy of Greatest hits & I was hooked.
Being a Queen fan at school wasn’t really cool in the 80’s but I didn’t care & here we are now in 2021 & Freddie & the band are probably more popular than ever yet most of the cool bands of the 80’s have long since disappeared out of consciousness……guess some didn’t know what they had til it was gone. Back on that dank November in 1991 nobody would have thought Freddie would be everywhere 30 years later & one in 3 households in UK supposedly own greatest hits.
will raise a glass later to someone who brought so much joy to so many….he could do it all…the best frontman ever, one of the best vocalists ever, one hell of a good musician & by all counts a throughly nice man.
RIP Fred & thanks for so much joy you brought to me & millions of others
I'll always say it, right from the beginning, when Queen was officially formed, they were destined for greatness!
30 yrs today. I remember hearing on the radio 😪😪
They were so amazing together! I love The Rainbow performances!!! Freddie Forever, love you so much!!🌹!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
What a great medley - showcasing all their talents, their versatility, the different genres featured. What an exciting combination of talents and music. Thank you for finding this. Love it! Remembering the late great Freddie Mercury today.
Couldn't agree more!
They're magnificent!
:) John and that triangle! I love that part. Also, Queen does really well in medleys - never disappointing, never choppy, always a smooth flow onto the next songs - then usually they go back to their first song. Full circle.
Lover of Life, Singer of Songs❤️❤️❤️ One & Only Freddie 👑 Legend ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for reaction 👌
Great choice Lovey,M!
I was running around today in my car. Anyone near me (including the food in my trunk...that's boot to you Hap ) is still recovering as I was playing Queen all the way, as loud as even I could handle it. If it's too loud, you're too old.
Look at them. Just babies in "74!
RIP. Thank you Mr and Mrs Bulsara for loaning us your son.
They were one, perfect blend of music instruments… thank you Hap
Exactly!!! 💯👑
That was a Magical Melody Hapz. RIP Freddie, where have the last 30 years gone?
I've never seen this and I thought I've seen them all. So thank you for this. Very much enjoyed it!! It was nice hearing Freddie talking to the audience at the beginning and hearing Roger hitting those really high notes.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Same here… how did I miss this one
Thank you, Hap! RIP Freddie. We will always love you!
Always. x
Wow, thank you so much!! World class all the way for the whole band and special thoughts for Freddie on this 30 year mark since he died, RIP. Hopefully, him and Montserrat Caballé are singing together.
Not a ukulele, a banjo. Actually a banjolele a hybrid combination of the two. Short neck like a uke but a banjo. Deaky's triangle solo is legendary!
This was WAAAYYYY pre Live Aid by over 10 years!
Lovely that you managed a Queen on this special day
How STAGGERINGLY wonderful was that? INCREDIBLE band, so skilled so fantastic. Absolutely MESMERISING. You are so right about the passion Queen always have and all the shades of it So universal, so timeless and so beautiful.
So freaking fantastic!! Freddie just had "that thing" that pulls you into his heart ♥️! I still think Innuendo shows how they're all so damn talented!!
Beautiful celebration of Queen’s music. Today (11/24) Freddie is gone 30 years… but still lives thru his music and fans. Thank God for their videos and records! 😊😍
Thank you for such a beautiful reaction/tribute! I knew at some point today I HAD to check youtube because I knew you'd pick something perfect (not that Queen isn't always perfect!) to mark the day. I found myself smiling more than feeling sad today because Freddie won't ever truly die. His and Queen's music keeps on living and inspiring people throughout the years.
Hey Hap, nice to see you. Thanks for this. Now it's bloody started and lap of the gods has made me bloody cry.
Why not, why not ??? 🤣
Yes, that's why I've gone through your playlist a third time now👍. Fantastic every time, this voice, the performance, the interplay of the “fantastic four” 😉, to see the fun they had, is never boring and something to admire. Thankfully, there are plenty of videos out there to still enjoy this today☺️. And that was all that Freddie was about, enjoying life and making a lot of fantastic music 🎤🎸🎵. There was still so much music in him😔🎵
But sometimes you have to step back a little and listen to what else there is in music in the world and when you come back you only realize how great these musicians are🤩.
Thank you for this wonderful reaction on this special day🥰🙋🏻♀️
Thank you for reacting to this on Freddie’s anniversary ❤️
Thanks for this Hap! I love the Rainbow concert. There were a lot of changes between 1974 and 1986 but one thing never changed. All four were always incredibly professional and well rehearsed giving the fans the best show they possibly could. They all had a work ethic that kept them together and striving to be better than any other band. Freddie's piano playing in Leroy Brown blows me away! Queen always had a medley in the early days. Such great memories. RIP Freddie 💛
Freddie gives you a wink from the heaven. ☀️🌈
Haven't seen this medley either yet. It was absolutely amazing, loved how they put March of the Black Queen in there. And lol how Bri played that banjo (or ukulele?) in the Leroy Brown instrumental that was unexpected. Also about these transitions, they were born with being masters at doing these I guess, they are just awesome. Great Reaction.
ben ben - It was a banjolele, a hybrid. Short neck like a ukulele but in fact a type of banjo.
There is something special with their Rainbow performances and yes I also prefer it a million times than live aid. Maybe it has something to do with them playing their very intricate songs because you will be mindblown every time you realize they can present those well live.
I realized this is the first time I've seen Freddie at the piano nearly throughout! Love to watch him play with his perfect posture and playing! And then the voice, and the lyrics.
John, Roger and Brian are masters as well. OMG! Love it! And this is the first time have seen you watch the entire performance without closing your eyes. Great reaction, Hap.
Yes … and that perfect posture… not a studied posture … just Freddie in all his perfection♥️🔥🥰
Thank you!! Thank you Hap!!!!
I’ve never seen this one!! WOOOOOW!!!!!
Please find more!! You are so right about this performance- and so perfect!! You have played more Queen than - I swear - anyone else!!! You are my man!! 💛💛💛
Bless you hap3 hard to believe Freddie has been gone 30 years. But never forgotten.
Quintessential Freddie/Queen...just fabulous 👍😎
Fabulous medley of great songs. Nobody can bring it like Queen can when it comes to live performances. I really enjoyed this, kept a smile on my face throughout the whole performance. Thank you.
Thank You for honoring Freddie! AND for all of your reactions. Very much appreciated! ❤️🌹
Freddie forever 💞 RIP my darling
I loved watching this - thanks so much, Hap! 💖
Hard to believe it's been 30 years today since Freddie's passing.
Gone too soon!!! 👑😔
Watching this video is a reminder that these four guys were not just rock stars. They were fabulous musicians! They could not only perform in different genres but could switch from one style to another with ease not interrupting the flow. The performance of the bit from March of the Black Queen was thrilling! If only they could have adapted the entire song to the stage. The Bring Back Leroy Brown section showed Freddie's great command of the piano and Brian's fantastic guitar ability on what was actually pretty difficult music. Loved your reaction as always.
Love your comment… Yes… master musicians…born that way ( and ended up together/ The perfect storm !!)
Missed you so much!! Last 2 1/2 months struggled with Covid and pneumonia!! Hospital for 19 days and then the oxygen! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Home safe and sound so I can enjoy you again! Thank God!
Glad you're better. 🙏🏽🎵
Perfection!! This performance will always be lovingly remembered through generations of Queen fans !!! Thanks Hap, for reacting to this on Freddie's 30th anniversay! 💜🎵💜🎵👑 Great request, Lovey,M !!
RIP FREDDIE. the Greatest ever
This is the period when I discovered Queen. And I never left.
Thanks Hap that was a wonderful remembrance medley.
Freddie per sempre 💗 grazie Hap 👏👏👏🥰
Thank you for doing this on the anniversary of Freddie's passing, a perfect performanse from four perfectionists, especially Freddie. That voice!!!I dare to say, I think, to this day I think Queen are still the one that bring so many emotions and smiling from you than any other (with exception of 2Pac :-) Yes, there are other so talented singers and bands but finding those who are able to cross so effortlessly between ballads and rock is hard to find. Queen were not limited by any genre, nothing was impossible to them, simply fascinating!
Well stated
They had an incredible meshing between the songs. Just raw Queen: talent above perfection. At 5:01 Roger caught my attention to that voice and how he can control it. I don't think I have ever heard such precision and control in his voice. It caught my attention and I was just overwhelmed with his performance. Everyone was incredible. Thanks for requesting that Lovey M. and for sharing something that I had never seen. I sure others are thinking the same thing. WHERE has this been?? Our boy was right on, once again. 🔥 💗
Thanks Roger for 5:01 😂✌🏼
30 years ago. Goodness a long time has gone by.
What a awesome medley!🔥 He was absolutely the greatest singer ever. Freddie & Queen proved this over & over. Fantastic choice! ♥️🔥♥️ What a medley to remember Freddie with 🥰 Legendary Reaction HAP! 🔥❤️🔥
Vocals are so smooth.
Gracias Freddie por darnos la gracia de conocer un ángel del cielo en la tierra. Siempre, siempre a tus pies.❤❤❤❤
Great reaction HAP. Thank you so much for doing this QUEEN medley. They actually did another one at the end of this concert. They did 3 more songs they did BIG SPENDER, MODERN TIMES ROCK N ROLL and JAILHOUSE ROCK too. Yeah this was back in 1974 and see how well they work off of each other. You made my day because you did QUEEN today. I have been in tears watching the tributes to FREDDIE and this one was fun to see. Thank you HAP. Don't take so long between QUEEN videos please. You are killing me. Lol 😆😆 Take care and have a great evening my friend. Much love to you my QUEEN brother. Your girl, QUEEN BEE.
Not having Freddie for 30 years, so missed...
😢

This reaction was absolutely GREAT! I thank you for your dedication to Queen especially on this particular day. I unsubscribed to anyone who didn't react to Queen on this day, but as always YOU came through!!!! We really do appreciate you.
Oh, I just loved this!!! Amazing 🤩 🤩🤩
I don't know how I've never seen this footage before! What a fun video! Thank you for lifting my spirits on this very somber day. I've shed a few tears remembering Freddie today so this was a really special way to end the day. ❤
Hap, sorry I’m late with my comments, I was listening to Freddie and Queen all day and somehow I missed this! I’ve never heard this medley before and the way they played and Freddie sang In The Lap Of The Gods! I’ve got this on loop. I absolutely loved your reaction and you never closing your eyes. Absolutely beautiful my friend! Love ❤️ from across the pond, Dee
Super happy in your reactions, thank you, you really love queen, like us, great, great band, I can't replace them to anybody else
Oh what a wonderful feeling to see queen band and your reaction just perfect
In the Lap of the Gods is my new credo...for life. You got the word right: mesmerizing. Do miss the regular Queen fix with you when once upon a time it was regular by the clock. I still hold out hope you will do a reaction to their two songs live on Saturday Night Live September 1982. Only US tv live appearance. Raw, bursing at the seams.
