I’m pretty sure Sheen was supposed to play Crowley originally lol, I may be incorrect though
@@themoonchild7302sorta, Neil wanted Michael for Crowley originally but they both realised he would not suit the role and would be better as Aziraphale. If I remember correctly, Neil said he had his mind set on David as Crowley when writing the church scene in ep 3 and basically told amazon that if David won’t be playing Crowley good omens won’t work

In the Audible adaptation of Sandman, Michael Sheen voices Lucifer. Unsurprisingly, his performance is compelling. That's something.

As long as no one plays a vicar who is written to make the worst decisions possible every time, I’ll watch it!
That was interesting but very difficult to watch. I really started to hate the woman locked in the basement, even though the actress is probably a lovely person.
As long as there's absolutely no reason for the main character to be a minister, since they never even scratched the surface of his faith, and if he had, he most definitely wouldn't have kept his friend in his cellar.... but that's not fun television. Let's just slap a collar on him and pretend he was born yesterday.

I started watching good omens last month and I really can't believe that Aziraphel is played by the same person who played Lucian in the Underworld series. Damn I was so stunned when I learned it. He is a very good actor as well as David Tennant.
