"I want to make two ships and have them crash together, and all the men will drown." -Evil Emily "I don't feel safe on land. Maybe I could get on a boat and be empress there!" -Good Emily
To be fair, the game is based on a time where incest was actually "normal" and most people found that the best way to stay as pure-bloods was through marrying within the family. Of course, thank god Emily didn't marry Corvo. >_
Corvo: "Uuuuuummmm.....Emily.....I'm the monster. You are the future empress. Your supposed to be drawing pretty flowers.....not an image of me killing people...."
Ugh the game is great because both endings are pretty awesome. One way she becomes a dictator and you her assassin, another way she is crowned Emily the Wise and you Royal Protector + every option in between. (Though I have to say the ways you dispose of targets in low chaos is a lot more cruel than for high chaos.)
The only time I ever killed was during the golden cat mission. Canonically I feel Corvo wouldn’t waste time sneaking around when Emily’s safety is at stake
I wish they had a feature where in Dishonored 2 the game asked you if you were a low chaos player or a high chaos player and who you killed and didn't kill you'll see two different future Emilys one who's a Empress that's merciful and fair and Corvo's back to being a bodyguard and is more talkative , high chaos shows a Emily who's no different if not worse than The Lord Regent and Corvo's her personal assassin who never says a word and kills anyone that Emily deems a threat to her
that would be a brilliant, but also means they have to have a lot of alternative speeches xD I think the only game that do this ambitiously was mass effect and look how it eventually fail.
Yeah, it's one of those things that you wish could happen but can't due to the sheer amount of more work that would be for the developers. I mean it would basically be creating two different scripts, with a bit of overlap of course. Then again, at the start of D2, you can just have head canon be that its a continuation of the high chaos world from D1, and proceed to play D2 as high chaos
I'm glad there's finally a semi-decent character named Emily in a good game. In Until Dawn, she's a bitch, but while she's kind of demented in this route of Dishonored, you can't deny it's also a liiittle bit bad ass.
**At the end of the game** Are they all dead? Good. I would’ve had them all killed anyway. Then she says _I’m going to be Empress._ With a stare colder than the outsider’s.
i dont think it is all sunshine and butterflies.. by default the world of dishonored is a cruel dark world.. like how those religious cult formed and pick their members, the cutting of living whales, the hard job of whalers, and the nature of the outsider..
when you gt poisoned it made your screen go funny and i didnt realise i had been poisoned and when i was talking to emily i though she was turning into alma from fear haha
BenHopkins1000 I go somewhere in between, I do what I feel is just. I switched the posion so the overseer can get a taste of his own medicine. I sent the twins into their own mine to teach them how their employees live. And I killed Lady Boyle because she didn't deserve to be raped by a stalker. I killed the regent because *REVENGE*. However, I spared Daud because he saves Emily.
Yeah on my high chaos playthrough I didn't notice until that part where she opens the door. When she said what she said I was like 0.o and when I saw her picture I went D: and I felt bad but then on low chaos it was good stuff and I was happy :) High Chaos: Corruption and Death! Low Chaos: Sunshine and Butterflies! Defineitly not a huge difference decided by one more kill on your chaos total o_o
After I beat high chaos this scene made me want to play low chaos... However I love devouring storm too much sooooo... Throne forged by corpses here we come!
I can't remember these lines. I was playing at medium chaos. I avoided killing guards and civilians, but had no mercy with my targets, witches and bandits...
Find that hard to believe, so many pedophiles on the internet Mr ramsay anyway I don't care pedophiles always come up with they are 17... like I said I don't care just wanted to point out that you liked YOUNG teenage girls who is underage. Have nice nite.
I went through the whole game (high chaos) not realizing how creepy she is. Then -- *SPOILERS* after I saved her, she says she had planned to have her co-rulers killed.
I don’t think Emily is traumatized. She’s being herself. The chaotic world around her makes her feel comfortable enough to reveal her psychopathy that she inherited from Corvo.
I like how people are getting more and more sceptical and dark around me, if I kill too many people. This game gives a moral lesson, that if you act dirty to achieve your goals, the world around you gets dirty together with you, in the end, you probably wouldn't like what you achieved, looking back at the price that was paid.
I think its kinda unfair, because they only show her changes at this stage, SUDDENLY. Its not like she changed gradually or anything. I actually thought i was doing "not bad" as i didnt kill civilians; i didnt count killing guards as "bad". Besides, the game labelled them as "hostiles". And generally, killing hostiles is a good thing :D
Actually, she did. If you investigate her room in between the missions, you can see dark drawings she made. Not only that, but right after rescuing her, if you talk to her on the boat, she's going to say she wished you destroyed the Golden Cat (not sure if she meant it for the people inside as well).
Well all I ever wanted was a good child to be with when I come home after killing how many people I have to kill just to go home, but that is a monster....... And I haven't even gotten the game yet!
ahaha yeah.. imagine if she draw that just because the world is bleak and only the maid was genuinely nice to her... while daddy corvo so obsessed with revenge.
3 endings actually, *SPOILERS* on the high chaos ending when havelock has emily and he threatens to jump you can just walk forward and he will pull emily down with him, thus emily an Emily dead ending as well.
Please, the guy's not a weirdo. She just won't live in remotely as much finery. Plus, she helped kill the Empress and probably knew of the plot, so doing that would be very merciful. Humiliation is what the Regent deserves.
*Spoiler I guess* Things get weirder because of the poison. While she speaks about killing people, the screen gets darker and darker as the venom affects Corvo. I was noticing how creepy she was getting before, by speaking with her. Specially when she talks about getting two ships full of people to hit each other and have them all drown (Really? @_@); Now playing low chaos, I see that I must have been a horrible person on the first go. T_T
Lol me I tried to be furtif but I'm bad at it naturally XD, I did it when I saved her but when she told me that it would have been great if I destroyed the entire place I loaded my save and killed all people furtively except the women XD I stopped here and I don't know if should play like a killer or a someone furtive. When I try to kill as few people as possible I always think that it's a waste of power XD Help me
Here we have Dishonored, a game where your choices matter more than any Telltale game
yeah xD
Lol - shots fired. 😏
They're letting your actions (high/low chaos) affect her character development.
Corvo is her father figure after all
"I want to make two ships and have them crash together, and all the men will drown."
-Evil Emily
"I don't feel safe on land. Maybe I could get on a boat and be empress there!" -Good Emily
@Hendrix King It sure is.
@Hendrix King pretty good. Dishonored 2 was a banger! Looking forward to Arkane's next project, Deathloop. Thanks for asking!
@@nonuvurbeeznus795 did you enjoy deathloop?
@@nonuvurbeeznus795 how's deathloop comin?
yea
I was low chaos until I got poisoned.
I got pissed, and basically murdered absolutely every guard that got in my way, and killed everyone in the end.
Spaer hawke same
Same
Did you murdered the whole Daud squad?
@@eliasalcantara9537 indeed I believe so
(Same there)
The guards didn't do anything to you lol
AT the start of the game, if you talk to her, Emily says: ''If you won't marry mother, will you marry me?''
Assuming what's implicated in the game is true, then eeeewwww...
Wincest !!!!! Hell Yeaaah!
that already signaled to us that shes a creepy girl till dishonored2 . hahaha
also she is like : better got incest that nothing. XD
The ONU are watching us.
To be fair, the game is based on a time where incest was actually "normal" and most people found that the best way to stay as pure-bloods was through marrying within the family. Of course, thank god Emily didn't marry Corvo. >_
1:11 ahem, lady, the subject of your discussion is literally sitting in front of you.
Thank god I went for low chaos where my reaction to the dialogue was
"She is way too positive for the shitstorm that's going on beyond this town..."
I love the feeling of the impacts of your actions (chaos high or low)... it feels very organic and natural... trying to do a low chaos ending
Corvo: "Uuuuuummmm.....Emily.....I'm the monster. You are the future empress. Your supposed to be drawing pretty flowers.....not an image of me killing people...."
Ugh the game is great because both endings are pretty awesome. Yea i got really freaked out at this point. And from this point onwards, i was something like "WHAT HAVE I DONE?" all the way till the game ends.
That’s why you do a low chaos run, the game makes you feel bad for being bad. I don’t wanna see this little girl enjoy the shit I’m doing.
See this, high chaos players? You did this to Emily, have a nice day.
...I am so glad I never killed anyone in game.
Salem Andrada congratulations it took me 1 month to get the no kills and not suspected
Well, you can still kill in moderation and still get a low chaos ending
sans the skeleton so undetected ghost - pasifist
@@sanstheskeleton2477 quicksaves bro
I slaughtered all guards at the Golden Cat and Lighthouse I got low chaos.
This is where I realized what I had been doing...
When i see her "bad" drawing i restarted the game and i tried to kill no one sorry for my bad english im brazilian.
its ok
i've realized that after 9th gameplay
after that i kept restarting it if i got high chaos

i finished high chaos the first time because i didnt know the ins and outs of the maps and i didnt think it mattered

Shes not creepy, shes actually really cool 💜
Shes so adorable
indeed. Adorable evil it is!
she is very traumatized after her mother get murdered. that the symptoms.
haha i love when calista says an empress is always merciful, cersei would disagree
Emily. What are you drawing. Emily. STAHP.
That's how life work bro.
Bad ways are ALWAYS more easy but later consequences can be very bad.
@TheAzuremight actually if you play through it on low chaos, she would leave a picture of Corvo on your bedside, and she wrote daddy on it.
High chaos Corvo works better, storywise. The betrayal makes more sense, and feels less like a cliche plot twist to lengthen the game.

Then again, at the start of D2, you can just have head canon be that its a continuation of the high chaos world from D1, and proceed to play D2 as high chaos
eh, if you High Chaos as Emily in D2, it just makes her evil like in D1's High Chaos ending.
I'm glad there's finally a semi-decent character named Emily in a good game. In Until Dawn, she's a bitch, but while she's kind of demented in this route of Dishonored, you can't deny it's also a liiittle bit bad ass.

_I’m going to be Empress._

YEAH and I was also sad when Samuel said I was the worst guy ever D:
with the drawing I thought the void guy possessed her
0:51 i started laughing so hard at this line
ha! I did an evil grin!
I played full chaos and I like how emily turned out.
this is the best Emily if you asked me just like her father
Cuz of this and Samuel that I went back to play the game in low chaos. Know it's just a video game, but damn it was worth it
When this game mentioned "Dark outcomes" i didn't killed anyone
I love Dishonored❤️
tbh.. the punishment for the bad guys are worse than killing them

I hope this only the "very high chaos" version.
Low Choas is the best for Dunwal, Emily, Corvo and everyone else... :)
you know...i dont see how you can replay this more than 2 times and still have fun like it is a new game :/
That's the Emily I like.
Wherever I go... you always seem to get here first.
Now that's the Emily I'd be proud to raise. So much more personality than the other sissy when you are on low chaos....
You do know that she would be as creepy as fuck right
Also, sometimes if you try hitting Emily , she makes the shards from a sword hitting metal and she makes the sound
This is why I go for low chaos.

the lines and the drawing itself depending if you are aligned more to chaos or not. It is also easily skipped.

Holy Jesus. What. Emily. Stahp.
Shes drawing a picture of corvo, according to the wiki.
Yeaaahhh... this is why I can't do High Chaos. e_e

yep, I finished both low and high chaos :P .
Chloë grace moretz
i only got about half the powers, i want to play through again same way i did getting the rest of the powers
honestly i would love to see a dishonored game that continues corvos story after the highest possible chaos ending where emily dies
It won't be action rpg anymore and instead a horror as he spiral down to insanity worst than the granny.
Emily is already more psycho than corvo in dishonored 2 if you play high chaos.
its because u have high chaos
Wait... Is that... WOW Emily's voice. Chloe Grace Moretz! My wife!
? Did not know you liked young teenage girls.

Then -- *SPOILERS* after I saved her, she says she had planned to have her co-rulers killed.
hahaha i just did the same thing, on the last mission and regretting having high chaos
When u see the animation (drinking) u think "poison" no ? ^^
This only happens if you are high chaos. It’s your fault for traumatizing your daughter.
traumatizing? she is having fun :P I know anyway, I finished this game countless times.
“The guards were just doing their job” And so was Corvo
I don’t think Emily is traumatized. She’s being herself. The chaotic world around her makes her feel comfortable enough to reveal her psychopathy that she inherited from Corvo.

could work
I let her fall, since she was corrupted at the end. That way Corvo just hops on a ship at the end and leaves Dunwall.
She was still a child. Corvo could still teach her to control her destructive tendencies. You can't always cut your way to resolution.
