Great video, typical audi making it very difficult to do anything. Heads up for anyone doing this, you need to reset the lower clips before you push them back in. There are videos on this, but you need to pry them open before you can resuse them.

Many thanks for this, following your instructions I was able to remove my door panel without any issues and no door clips were broken.
I didn’t have the proper tools but managed with two plastic bicycle tyre levers and a screwdriver with electrical tape around the tip.

For the lower panel there is a small hole underneath the metal clip. You can put a right angle tool through in it and use it to pull outward. From there travel from the outside toward the front of the car.

Hi there, thabk you for the video!!! The problem i have is the leatherette is coming away from the panel. Should i just glue it back in place, or will i get better access if i remove the piece it goes on if i take the whole door panel off? Thanks again

Are you replacing only the glass or the whole mirror?
@@UltimateDIY The whole assembly. I think the problem will be the wiring which is connected directly to the module right? It cannot be accessed without the panel removed.

A better way too lose the doorlock is too pull the head of the white plastic and the pull on it.
